Hey Kevin! Yeah I still have the old VHS ones but I ripped the DVD we got for this. It's still not very good quality but better than the only other one that's on RU-vid. Hope all is well with you!
This was my freshman year at Snider. We knew Homestead had a good show ("The Art of Insanity"), with a traditionally phenomenal drumline. It's never good to perform last in your class, like they did at ISSMA State Finals. Judges, a lot of times, have already made up their minds by the end...Even when it comes to the "big bands". Performing early on is also not great, as the judges know many more bands are to come. It's best to perform in the middle of the pack, so to speak. A lot of us at Snider felt Homestead was robbed of a higher placing that year, solely based on their awesome closer.
Thanks man, this was my sophomore year! I can still remember the trumpet fingerings for half the show haha - it's burned in my mind. It's still fun to look back and remember this show. It was special!
@@Riot55 I was in the trumpet section at Snider during the 2002 Season. I ended up being in the snareline for the following 3 years, including being a member of the (formerly known) "Plan B" indoor drumline (changed to "Quest Youth Percussion Ensemble" in Fall 2005). I graduated Spring 2006. I can still play "Shaggy's Shuffle" (Homestead's drumline on-field warm-up) on snare to this day. We loved Homestead's 2002 drumline feature so much, I posted it on my channel.
