I love that every single one of their aspects was mentioned at some point in the lyrics: Breath, Time, Light, and Space. If not intentional, that’s an incredibly fitting coincidence

i love everything about this but something about that "i'm not stumbling, i'm just breaking through / like the wild ones do" was very powerful

ahhhhhh i never knew you made a part two to derse dreamers and its literally. everything. i couldve ever imagined and more!!!! whereas the og was about the beta strilondes’ green sun suicide mission specifically, this one has the general vibes of the alpha strilondes to me :0 the lines “finding all thats hidden / shouldve stayed far away” and “im not asking im just taking / im not stumbling im just breaking through” make me think of roxy the most (the one about the light blinding you reminds me of her first meeting rose too omfg) meanwhile dirk and hal (or all the dirk splinters honestly) are having a bro rap battle showdown of the century LMAO finding this channel again filled me with so much love for all the fan created content homestucks have made over the years, lots of them have helped me through rough patches especially your music ^u^

Ah yes, good. Us fans who've been loving it for over a decade now are still here. My content is shifting away from it now but I still cosplay Mother Lalonde at every convention I go to, still listen to all the marvelous fan-made music (and will absolutely be listening to this song again and again too!) and still have fondness in my heart for Homestuck. On Christmas a few days ago my family decided it would be a great topic of conversation to interrogate me about my Homestuck phase. They really wanted to understand why I made it my personality for the entirety of high school, but after I tried and failed to explain they likened it to a spell that had fallen over the kids my age. After I was done trying to explain Class, Aspect and Lunar Sway to my sister, it was your lyrics (specifically Pyrocumulus and of course Derse Dreams) that wormed their way into my head over the day. I don't know if RU-vid would have recommended me this video if I hadn't looked up you Derse Dreamers song on Christmas. I would have been sad to miss this, it's absolutely beautiful :D
