I personally adore paneer! I purchased it at our local Indian market and I have prepared it myself. It's really quite delicious. For anyone who's never had it. It kind of tastes like cheese cards but with a much more mild flavor. Anything with paneer I would love!
I made this the other day, and it felt like the mattar paneer recipe I've been searching for all my life!! I am not the sort of person who can measure by eye when it comes to making curries the way my older relatives can - I need quantities! And making this recipe was legit the first time in my life I have felt like I made a good curry with the right balance of flavours. ❤ I actually got kind of emotional. Thank you so much!!!
Video series suggestion: Indian "college food". Recipes that are cheap, quick, and easy... Like bachelor's and college students might make. For example, in Japan they have gyudon.
Looks really yummy! I wonder, would I be able to switch out almonds for the cashews? And okra for the peas? Seems like it would work out okay and still be delicious. I don't eat cashews because they bother my arthritis and I don't eat peas because they're high in nickel and give me blisters
yes absolutely. I had done a Keto version and swapped out the cashews for almonds and yes peas for okra is also fine then it won't be Matar Paneer it will be Bhindi Paneer since Matar is PEAS and Bhindi is Okra.
@@HeadbangersKitchen yeah, I figured that was already a dish. My local grocery store has actually started carrying paneer so I won't have to mess around with making it myself.
