When you think you had a rough childhood, you hear of stories like this.... may God sustain this family in His grace and mercy.

I remember this story profiled on Unsolved Mysteries and always wondered what happened in the end.

I literally watched that episode YESTERDAY! Whenever I can’t sleep I play old unsolved mysteries and I thought wow that’s such a crazy sad story I can’t believe I haven’t heard of it before. Imagine my surprise when I clicked on this video randomly

I dont understand why this was a cold case for so long!?! The mother in law was the last one to see them and supposedly drop them off and there's a custody dispute going on and all she has to say is idk I dropped them off like what!?!? How they didn't search their property as soon as they went missing is crazy...sounds to me like local cops were paid off or something cuz thats crazy!!!

Wow only 5 years. It’s so ironic how every court follows the same justice system but the outcomes are always different.

Each state has it's own rules and laws for it's justice system. Like some states have the death penalty and some do not. It can cause some states to be way too lenient with their punishments, like in this case.

It's a bit like the case in Ohio where one family murdered the family of a child because of custody. Also the Kansas mums who were recently murdered by the grandma and her friends. These grandmas seem to feel they have no status in their community unless they have grandchildren, etc. They see them as their property

5 years for a triple homicide? How was this able to happen? No way that woman should’ve been released in 5 yrs. We have people on death row for killing one person.

Wow, cold..basically dropping your partner when she's deathly ill & take her newborn baby!? That is beyond cruel.

Did I miss the part about how this was never investigated? Nobody runs off to start a new life with their just their 6yr old + sister in law! I mean the WHOLE TOWN KNEW something was henky. I’m glad for the younger generation understanding what truly binds family and for replacing the bad with good. That’s the only way to heal.

So the police never solved it when it was fairly obvious who had done away with them. I mean this family was obviously known for bad ways and then the triple murderer gets out of prison. I reckon maybe this women had some dirt on certain people because the whole thing is rediculous. Bribary and corruption perhaps. Well done to the rest of this familly for turning out to be decent people.

RIP Beverly? What are you talking about? She’s the murderer & had a long history of illegal behavior. How you have sympathy for her is baffling. She didn’t want the actual mother of this child to have her back. Who was she to make that decision?!
