Decided to try something a little different today for the Illinois monthly test. This 4004 is located at Patriots Park in Homewood. At the beginning of the video, you can hear distant 2001s from Markham, Harvey, and Country Club Hills, along with a distant 8 port siren (MAYBE a P-15 from Orland Park?) Then, Glenwood's system fires up, you can prominently hear the 3T22 on Halsted behind The Room Place, along with a bunch of their 2001s. Later on, Hazel Crest's system joins the mix, with their STL-10 and STH, their Thunderbolt, and of course more 2001s.
Finally at 2:25 in the video (about 10:02 in real life) the 4004 boops to life and does 3 minutes of alert. While the Whelen is returning to it's "home" position to begin the voice sequence, Chicago Heights's Thunderbolts wind up, and continue to sound for three minutes as Homewood's 4004s are doing voice, making for a pretty creepy sound.
The park was pretty packed with people with it being the first "nice" day here in quite some time, some of them walk in front of the camera, I apologize for that. I also apologize for the bird that was very very nearby that seems to be having multiple orgasms at several points in the video. I don't blame the bird, that ambiance was epic! :P
