Honda Activa 6G Big Problems. Pros & cons. 

I bought 6g in December and driven 7000km it is great and yes pickup is less than previous gen I am getting good mileage of 45+ and also achieved 52 and 57 full tank to tank

The performance part is so true . My Activa 4G used to easily run upto 95kmph but the 6G gets stuck at 85

I bought activa 6g it's very good , very smooth, for city rides and long term usage , very reliable ....

Bro Disk brake is not good for scooty. I have seen more accidents in disc brakes in scooty than disk brakes in Bikes. I think its ok .

My activa 6g 110 best in class. Led lights and sidestand cut off missing but that is not so important. Only 5 days done. Fantastic mileage and performance

Yes pickup is less than 5g because 5g in nearly square engine but 6g give Undersquer engine for best pulling power💪 and mileage.😊😊

There is no disc brake but with drum brakes it performs very well... Breaking is very good...I am Using this since 2021...And till now I just love it's brakes...❤️

The cons u are mentioning are not at all cons. U can't get everything from a particular brand. Leave the refinement and vibration free smooth engine.. Go for jupiter with loads of features. If u want best engine refinement and smooth vibration free engine but not loads of features then go for honda and yamaha. Go for jupiter and wait for 2-3 years. Compare it with the engine performance and smoothness of activa. Automatically u will get the answer. Extra features will not be of use if engine performance decreases.

The pros of activa are so big that it overshadows all cons.. no other scooter can matches the refinements and after sales service of honda ..

I had an bad experience brand new 6g taken from showroom and go to gas station filled full tank.... fuel gage not working go to Honda service center funny suggest “ they told me don’t fill tank 🙈 “ I removed gasoline half tank in service center still not working, Technician go for test drive and makes an-accident..

Bhai, mere paas ek Activa 3G scooter hai. It runs great but some serious problems are there. When there are moisture in the break pads, it locks the wheels very easily. This is very dangerous while driving. No. 2. When I run the scooter for more than half an hour, the diggy gets very hot. Everything I keep there gets hot. If I keep a bottle of water, it gets hot. I can't drink it. Cannot keep my mobile there. Wire quality is poor. I replaced Choke and speedometer cable so many times. Headlight is very week. Otherwise looks good.

125bs6 deluxe is best. I've been using since 1.5 year.

Resale value of Activa is actually a MYTH because for example TVS Jupiter will give 5km more mileage + Free servicing will cost Rs. 350 while Honda charges Rs. 500-700. In Activa you are putting more petrol (mileage less than TVS) also Activa parts and services also expensive. So in total what extra money (petrol + service charges) you are putting in Activa compared to TVS, comes back to you in form of resale value and people dont realize this logic and so create hype of resale value.

I have activa 125 bs vi .. and it has sound problem in rear wheel , when I went to service centre they asked me that all Honda 2 wheelers has a same problem. I'm not satisfied with the answer By service personnel.

Guys, please do not change the tail lamp bulb to LED or fix a hazard switch on the Activa 6G. It will cause the ECU fuse to blow out. It's okay to change the meter and indicator bulbs.

Don’t buy Honda activa, my Honda activa run only 2400km but already engine noise and clutch plate problem and handle bar is not good and no smooth suspension better go for others except Honda activa I lost Honda engine trust and show room people told unnecessary resone just because still my bike run free service

Taking into consideration number of these cakes Honda has sold in India, they should provide more options. No, I do not want to upgrade to the 125cc engine due to fuel prices. Do I want bigger and better alloy wheels with disc brakes , ABS, digital display with smart connectivity , trip meter, instantaneous & average mileage and range - absolutely! Honda has to provide the 125 features here!

Hello, agar koi activa 6g lene ka soch rahe hai to mat lena please...mene july 2020 me liya or mene 2800 km se jyada chala...koi bar cell lagata nai hai...time lagata hai...koi bar horn bandh ho jata hai...or aapne 4g chalai hogi to aapko iski build quality b nahi pasad aaayegi thode time bad...so koi or options dekho.

In hilly area like few areas of jharkhand, it gives less milage as claimed by the company, and I never felt any pickup delay in it👍👍 Although I'm impressed👍👍👍👍☺️ lekin jo led light wala varient hai jo deluxe model hai uski braking kafi tagdi hai bina disc brake ke Maine 80ke speed me hard breaking kiya hai aur wo jaldi ruk gayi without hitting the target

All said and done the reason why Activa sells the most because of many things. Honda brand name and reliability, advanced technology in small and big things, from constant engine improvement to for example external fuel lid. Activa is giving everything that is necessary and little above. And Jupiter is not reducing the price. Jupiter and other 110cc scooter should at least be 10% less than the market leader. are they doing that? At almost same price maybe 2 thousand rupees less doesn't matter... So at same range it is better to be with time tested product. Also Activa is safest in terms of sudden need to sell the vehicle. Maybe you have income fall maybe for some other reason. You will lose a lot if it is Jupiter or Suzuki first aur second year resale. However if you suar of keeping the vehicle long time then you should consider putting 8000 rupees more and getting Access 125. This is the real competition. In many ways Access 125 is a better way to Activa accept metal body. Bigger storage more floor space more power torque equal or better mileage Etc. I would say that 8000 is worth it. But If you are going to use for office purpose multi people still Activa will be better because of metal body. Even 5 or 7 years later you will find it looking new after repaint. Doing the same on fibre you will have to replace it

Activa 6g petrol level batane me gadabadi hai. Seat lock bekar hai. Ek hath se button push karke rakho, dusare hath se seat uthao. Dono hath engage ho jate hai. Average 48 ka diya. Purchase karke 25 din ho gaye.
