this makes me excited to get my ADV 160. I put a deposit on one yesterday, will likely pick up in April before the weather gets nice here in snowy Ohio, USA.
Off road, on road, up road, down road! I think its safe to say that this bike has the nuts to get you ",off the beaten track " and get you to some cool remote places if you were using it an a bit of an adventure tour. Great video!
Thanks for watching! 😊 Honda PCX can easily handle this road similar to Click,Mio etc... But w/ lower clearance you just need to be extra careful and avoid the rocky & unstable spots that could potentially hit the engine. Ride Safe
@@mo-tour123 Thank you very much for your kind reply. I go camping often with PCX, also i ride on intercity roads (500-600-km) with Xmax. I don't go to camping with XMAX , because xmax is heavy and high. My height is 170 cm. Therefore I want to buy adv 350 or adv 160. But adv 350 is a heavy engine like xmax. It is difficult to control on gravel and mountain roads. One negative thing is that ADV 160 is not sold in my country. My question is, should I continue to go camping with pcx or should I buy adv 350? Does it make much difference?
Honestly, I don't think you need to upgrade to the ADV160 if you've already got a PCX 160. The difference is minimal and doesn't change much. Plus, for hundreds of km on city roads, the PCX is ideal. It may have lower ground clearance, but you get better control. I haven't tried the Xmax or ADV350, so I can't speak on those :). But if you're into a lightweight, nimble, fuel-efficient ride, occasional rough roads then I think the PCX160 can take it well and also a solid choice. :)
Thanks for the suggestion! I'm glad you liked the video. I'll definitely consider adding narration about the views in future motovlogs as I get more comfortable. :) Ride Safe
I guess it fits you well as the rear shock is a little bit stiff and works perfectly with a heavier load. height also matters, it took a while for me to adjust because I'm a short rider. probably best suited for height 5"4' to 5"8'. Better to go to the dealer to try it out or at least sit on it :) Ride safe
12:18 dude, that's f*king scary long downhill slope with engine sitting idle. I always use engine braking in addition to alternating F/R brakes lever to prevents overheating the brake.
Thanks for watching. You are right engine breaking helps. The front break was unresponsive right after that descent, likely due to an overheated disc affecting the fluid, making the lever feel soft :) Ride Safe
You're overthinking. Driving off road meant driving on unpaved surfaces, whether it is on roads like on this video or on difficult ones like you see on extreme sports.
My Offroad Verdict: Napaka reliable, iba tlaga level confidence kung mataas clearance. Sa power wala din issue kahit may angkas w/ an estimated total weight of 165kg no probs jan. offcourse Need lang bwelo at Off HSTC. Mags inaalala ko nung una pero so far wala nmang kahit konting benkong/dent. Hahanapin mo lang tlaga engine break if galing ka manual kc sobrang lusong. Cons: 1. Matagtag kung magaan karga compared sa XRM pero napaka comportable kung may OBR :) 2. May times Lumalambot front break lever after matagal na lusong(rare case only) pero mararamdaman mo lang nman kung paakyat na. Summary: Eto ang pinaka best na nagamit kong motor dun, in terms of comfort, performance, and confidence. Tnx & Ride Safe Chief
Currently using Michelin City Grip 2 in stock size Chief. Touring setup for better handling on the road/city drive. Matibay din naman kahit sa rough roads. :) Pero kung madalas ako sa ganitong daan, I would choose Michelin Anakee. Thanks for watching, Ride Safe
if lage ka trail bka much better yung mga mas magaang bike at naka rimset. sayang pag natumba mahal fairings :) pero kung occasional light trail at chill ride lang pwede na din nman kc mas mataas clearance nya sa xrm.
Salamat sa panonood! You're probably right, not for extreme off-road. Pero base sa aking karanasan, ADV na siguro and isa sa pinakamaganda kong nagamit pagdating sa comfort, power, clearance, at confident diyan. At so far, wala pa nmang issues, kaya siguro ganun din ang presyo. Ride Safe Brod
Yes tama ka, Mio or any other motorcycle can easily handle these roads. Sa huli, It all comes sa personal na pangangailangan at preference kung ano ang pinakabest choice para sa iyo. Ride safe!

Definitely shorter cguro lifespan ng ball race kung lage sa ganyan daan. Pero so far naka ilang balik na ako jan & at iba pang rough road at goods padin naman handling, walang kakaiba or mabigat na kabig. Thanks for watching
