Kinda don't compare because the T is in the 700 class. 100 lbs lighter, thinner, nimble, easier for maintenance. AT has to much cosmetics. I liked it when hauling lots of gear and on highway riding in the rain and wind. Better for a passenger.
I think I was saying the same all the way a round. Notice a lot skipping the course where you got stuck after the start. I was on the orange loud ktm 950. Good vid!

Because you got stuck where you did me and about 5 others all thought it was left at that section and ended up going through the tape 😆😆😆 well done man it was an effin epic day I was on the black ktm 990r then I ended up having to come back down the hill where the que was cos an enduro bike stopped right in front of me and I lost all traction 🙈 and still waiting for them to update the results as 4 of my laps my transponder didn't bloody work lol but 100% doing it again next year 👌
Fair play to you bud. I've got the AS version so I know the sort of weight we're talking about. I would definitely have pulled/broken something - largely irrelevant due to the ensuing cardiac arrest. Well done.
An absolutely awesome video. Well done to you. Very hard work and you did it on that bike. I would only have joined you on a 250cc. You have taken that bike and proven that it is possible. It is a truly energy draining exercise, and you first time did it. Just imagine if you did it more and more. You would become so strong and the bike would become so light. This could serve as the basis for a good horror movie! At certain points you sounded like you were being chased by Godzilla. Nevertheless, kudos to you for attempting this. P.S. DCT must suck in these conditions and type of riding, having the option to slip the clutch would have made your life easier. That's why I will be getting the standard.
Well done getting the beast around with only a afew drops I know it's difficult to get used too but try standing up abit more try relaxing let the bike do the work and you will breath easier. When I first started enduro I was blowing out my backside a pro shown me techniques standing up and honestly it made such a difference too my control and body control. Well done again!

I own a 2021 Africa Twin just like this and I am amazed at how well you did riding this heavy pig in those conditions in your first enduro. I also own a KTM 350 EXCF and that is what I ride on tracks like this.

Brilliant! Had to subscribe, I'm a chef, too and equally as mad. Love the fact that events are starting to cater for big boned bikes and the riders are nuts enough to have a crack. A short vid on how the DCT performed would be really interesting though it sounded like it didn't have to work too hard.

As much as I love Africa, due to weight, it is not an Enduro bike...you were fighting it every inch of the way. HUGE skills to manage this trail on Africa!
Over powered, perfect amount of torque. Not hard to wrestle around the course. Just hard to balance through slow areas and obviously heavy to correct at low speed or pick up
Well done, although I’d prefer to stick with a manual. But you seemed to cope really well with the DCT, particularly on some of those longer climbs where other big bikes got stuck…👍
Looks tough as nails, especially those muddy sections! Don't wanna get stuck there with a heavy bike. I know from experience that getting such a bike out of a mud pit is an absolute pain on your own. But it also looks like an absolute blast! Wish this kind of terrain was near where I live! What kind of tires were you running?
