Honda Amaze CVT - Honest ownership experience | DDS 

I bought Amaze VX CVT petrol on Feb 2022,(uplift version) odometer shows 3789km in 3months, done 1900km 3day trip from Kolkata to Bangalore and then we went to Kodaikanal from Bangalore it's around 900km. Just awesome car. No complaint. Smooth as butter. In hill , CVT performed exceptional. I am thrilled. In Highway with AC it gave 23.3kmpl, overall (total odometer reading of 3789km) it is giving 16.5kmpl(Highway + Bangalore City traffic). I don't drive without AC. In 2022 CVT make sense. Automatic came in 1940s in US and now in 2022 , India we are still hesitating, come on man. Overtake ,just put in S mode then press the pedal. That's it. Stability in just great. Steering feel is good. Rear seat is like real 20L Sedan. Fit n finish has been rectified over the old version. It's CVT it's not for enthusiasts. Sorry boss there is no rubber band effects. It's CVT boss , it will slowly pickup. Oil is oily and water is water. You can't expect oil to be water and vice versa. 😊 Btw I loved the pedal shifters , you will feel like Schumacher.

Amaze Disel cvt 1.5 highway may 19 average ( with ac )without ac 20.5 ... City may 18 -17 average

I have Honda Amaze idtec S 2015 and I take 20+kmpl in city drive and in Nov 2020 I clocked2500km with 26+kmpl .in 150 km stint on NH 1 Prayagraj Allahabad to Varanasi it returned 28+kmpl.Avrage speed80-95 at 2000-2100 rpm.

I also love Nexon n tracking from day it was launched but went for Amaze...huge respect for Tata n Ratan tata ji but feel bad that Tata does not have a dealer network that they deserve not all but most has given a very bad consumer experience

I am very satisfied with my Honda Amaze Diesel CVT, after completing 20000 km run, giving average 23 kmpl on highway with AC. Sports mode if better than Drive Mode but average is 21kmpl

Honda Jazz CVT is even more better especially with more Headroom for Rear Passengers and better Build Quality. That’s why it’s priced more than Honda Amaze.

Hi Bros, Petrol CVT or Diesel CVT which is good , I have city use & interstate (600+Km once side) on every 2-3 months. I have used 2018 i20 Elite CVT petrol but Amaze petrol CVT I felt very lighter that i20 in driving even I am not an expert driver. As I have long highway drive, Is it the Diesel CVT better in performance?

I own the same car and variant for 2.5 years. Generally very easy to drive, spacious. The external body and structure is way better than Maruti cars. Enjoy the steering control. Car stable at moderate to high speeds, engine noise no issue. Issues: AC motor or blower not sure exactly what, but it started making a mild squeaky noise in 2 years after 4th servicing. Can hear inside the cabin after you switch on the AC. So I took the car back to the service centre. The SA said it is the AC motor making a noise. He said he fixed it but issue is still unresolved. Body makes a noise on bad roads. Headlights and fog light power pathetic. I switched over to fluorescent lamps at the dealership itself. After sales service:: SA’s and staff are polite but quality of service should improve. I feel due to the Indian population density, many people have purchased a car due to affordable prices and bad public transport infrastructure in the cities. so SA’s are unable to handle many cars during servicing and provide quality service due to pressure to service vehicles at a faster pace.

You should try Nexon Diesel Automatic. Lot of difference in driving experience.

I want your advice, I am purchasing 2nd hand diesel swift, I already saw 2 vehicle 1st is 2011 old swift running completed 49000 genuine Kms(seen Maruti servicing record) from true valu.(cost 3.5 L) 2nd is zdi dezire diesel 2017 running completed 1,20,000_ cost offered is 6.5 L... All services done in maruti dealer. 2011 swift is very smooth and fast to ride..pl help which would u prefer to buy.

Atleast projector headlamps is expected in top model of amaze. But paddle shifters is good feature.

Honda Amaze manual clutch is very hard. Smart decision to go for CVT.

Took test drive suspension is too soft and it is hitting the road very often on pot holes . That's why I cancelled the plan for Amaze. Thanks guys for the real review

My question is that sir this is my first car and I don't have any knowledge regarding it sir I want to know that which price is applicable the on which I have booked the car in Aug or on the new price but I have listen that the booking price is applicable... Aap i20 diesel suggest kyu nahi karte.i know ki i20 petrol underpowered hai or diesel abhi band hai. Par jab aati thi tabbhi aap usko inta prefer nahi karte. Aisa kyu kiyuki maine usse try kiya to i20 diesel ki performance bohot hi behetreen lagi mujhe. Plzzz ans😊

Purchased Amaze petrol CVT 2022 . Getting mileage of just 6.5 kmpl for first 100 kmts driven. Will it improve to 12-15 after first service ??? Very sad, after buying it. Not happy with mileage. Also not happy with AC. It takes time for cooling for back seat.
