Wanted a cool run around bike for our family vacation on a small Island we go to. I saw one of these older Honda cub's in all white and thought it looked pretty classy and then happened to find 2 of these. I started with the worse one which came in a few boxes. This is the final episode out of 5. Made the seat cover and repaired plastic parts in the previous videos, check it out!
There are of course some mistakes in my descriptions throughout.... bullet nuts not castle and sure many more. I ended running the 2.25x17 tires on the front and the rear. The 2.75 on the back rubbed everything... I didn't show how many times I changed that back tire... 2 holes in the tubes and different size trial.
The bike is fun to ride, although I will say shifting on this bike is a little rough. I might try to adjust the clutch. I found having it under a little throttle load helps it shift. My wife struggled alot.
The rockers and valves are also a little loud. Its my understanding you want to hear some of that, its correct. But I think I need to fine tune the valve clearances to quite that down a bit.
Thanks for taking time to watch. Hope it helps someone!
I am supposed to say hit that like button and subscribe, so there you go! Take care!
