This video shows clips recorded on an amazing ride through the desert and over a mountain sof 4,000m between Santa and Caraz in Peru. We had not anticipated it to be totally off road ie.. we met no vehicles in 2 days on that route only animals. the route was mainly desert and grassed over rock roads . We passed a couple of small villages none had vehicles motorbike or cars and hence none had gasoline.
At one stage we thought we might have to consolidate the gas and send some one on to get some, but we eventually met a down hill stretch of 30 km and we able to make it to a town with gas.
It was by far the most adventurous ride yet.
