Most people : "It's a cool little bike to get you around town" Ed March, looking at a C90 and a dual sport bike: "I see no difference between these two"
Strangely enough, it seems to be not faster than the 50 cc versions I drove back in the 1970's. The 50 Miles per hour aren't even reached here. But above all, please, blip the throttle when shifting down, and wait a second before releasing the lever when shifting up ! The automatic clutch weights a ton and add an huge flywheel effect one must deal with carefully. It could even end up with a fall off on a wet road; this bike is not an easy to drive one.
@@motomania8429 I just can't believe how much they've gone up in price! 5 years ago, I was in the C90 club. We used to pick them up for £250-500 for a nice one. Now their £1500 for a not so mint one! :(
U will have to pay a bit ive jad 12 of them over the last 34 years ive just bought a v reg c70 2980 in blue fully restored like new it set me back eighteen hundred and that was dropping it from two thousand two hundred u cant get them for fifty quid anymore lol
@@PANDAC90 your right there ive just paid eighteen hundred for a 1980 v reg c70 in blue fully restored to like new ive had it a year and they r still going up I travelled hundred miles for it he wanted two thousand two hundred for it got him down a bit ive had twelve of them in thirty three years love them worth every penny.
@@hondac7028 Ouch! They definitely have crept up in price! Now you've got one, don't let it go for any reason haha. I ended up fixing my 40 year old daily MZ up as I didn't have the heart to sell it, I managed to get a cub project what I got for my Dad to tinker with but I don't half miss them lol.
I really think we should get back to basic transport like this, cars, and bikes have got very expensive and a lot of that has to do with all the tech. Make it optional.
@@martyn_g there is none. It works by centrifugal clutch. You just kick it into gear to let it engage and then turn the throttle to go. No shifting to worry about when you're moving, you just kick it into neutral when you're stopped.
