My day with Honda CB 750 Four K2 from 1972. First owner here in on Gran Canaria with around 250 000 kilometers. I had the great honor to take a bike for a short trip and share the great sceneries with you.

This was my second bike 1971 CB 750 which I kept for ten years and rode for ~102,000 miles, never to open the engine other than change the valve cover gasket (brakes, chains, clutch cable, lights...) otherwise it was an unbelievable motorcycle that change the world of motorcycling forever. Mine did not have vibrations to speak of. The power and the beauty was unbelievable. I followed with a Kawasaki KZ-1000 with a Vetter fairing. I still ride but I have only have Hondas (ten of them actually, all classics). What a feat of engineering - and yes, I am an American and I did ride a brand new Harley for 6 months (1997) but was greatly disappointed and sold it after it spent most of its time at the shop - I went back to Hondas. Ciao, L

In 1979 I spent what was then a lot of money £600 on a black painted 2 UK owners UK Honda CB750. At twenty years old this was my only transport and it flew. It was so quick kept up with Z1s! When i read the first owner it was Honda Power Road London. I phoned them and found the bike had been a test mule and it was full of all the trick bits that came out over 6 years till 1976. Special pistons, cam, clutch, valves. After 80,000 mile of hard use (there didnt seemed to be ea rev limit ...ooops) it dropped a valve so we rebuilt it and repainted it in its candy red. Ive still got it now. What a machine. I now find its a K0 and one of the first in the UK so ill get my £600 back but Ill never sell it So many memories, truly an epic bike...its a keeper

I'm a fan of old Brit bikes, but I can hardly imagine the pleasure of owning the CB 750, especially at that time. Smooth, powerful, leak-free, reliable. Four carburetors! yet fewer problems than the Brit bikes' one or two carbs. It was a world-changer.

I had one like this even the same colour. To find an original one today you would way more than what I paid for mine back in the early 7s0s. Maybe 6-7 times more I think. Sorry that I didn't keep it now after seeing this. Brings back a lot of good memories. All the best everyone and hopefully we can all keep on riding for many more years to come.

My uncle had a 2-stroke Vespa for every-day use, and a 750 CB for the weekends. I can't remember the exact model year but that round headlight and the cherry-red tank will forever be ingrained in my memory. I learned how to ride on the Vespa, but I was just too young to be allowed on the Honda...

Great riding on a lovely CB. When something is made with care and quality then it will last for long long time, & here is the proof , 50 years later Honda CB 750 still runs beautifully. Nice video .

What a beautiful motorcycle,I also owned the 1976 model 400/4 supersport and a 1975 model 500/4 which I would say is still my favourite bike but it sadly met it's end when I was hit by a car. I have owned many bikes since those days and still ride a Honda today...Honda VT750 Shadow. Thank you for sharing with us.

Great vid, that's a lovely bike and spelt the end of the British bike industry in the 70s. The GC 200 is also one of the great biking roads of the world. It's a shame the whole of the old road is not now open after the rock fall as it's a really dramatic section.

@@oceanhome2023 actually yeah brother that CB 400/4 and the cb350/4 have the same crank cases, so I've read, and they are very similar in pretty much every way meaning that they are like 85 90% parts interchangeable between the two, and the CB 400/4 is actually a 408 CC motor, it will have the 408 stamp in the front of the cylinder pretty much like all CB's

And of course I absolutely love the CB750, I own a 73 750 k3, and I am really kicking myself in the ass right now because I could have actually purchased a 71 750 k1 with 46k miles for $1,800 in non running condition, I have been thinking about that bike ever since, I really regret not buying it also, but I will keep looking and I will find another one very similar, but it must be older than my k3 I already own...

The CB750K did not have electronic ignition, as you keep saying. It had an electric start (as well as kickstart). You can add electronic ignition with any number of aftermarket systems like Dyna and Pamco.

I bought a 75 for 750 bucks in 1987. It had chrome chain guard and instrument s. Kept it till 2007 had to sell it for only 1600 bucks. Felt like a fool but needed the money. Was all original cept i had to put a new right side exhaust system due to rust out. Still ran like a bat. More hp than my 2005 Triumph Bonneville 865. Crazy huh. Makes you realize the Japanese aren't fooling around. Now I couldn't afford one,,,ha.🙄
