Honda cbr1000rr 2017-2019 uses inline engine 4. The bike is greatly improved compared to the previous one. Engine capacity increased from 184 hp to 194 hp. 0-300 km / h in 15 seconds can be accelerated, very powerful!
This man travels 3 km in 43 seconds. That means IF he could keep this speed, IF there were no stoplights, refueling & rest...etc, he could go from Montreal, Canada to New York, USA in 2.5 hours. But then, IF we would give him an even better case, by not adding in the 15 seconds acceleration from 0 to 300, it would only take him exactly 2 hours.
The video at the end shows why limiters are a good idea. Anything that can go over 300Kph would require the rider to wear gloves, to remain safe. Mincing along at 300Kph or less, without gloves, would be perfectly ok if anything went wrong.
@@mrglock568 Nobody thinks about having something, an insect for example, smash onto your hand at this speeds. With bare hands like this it can break your finger, and make you loose control instantly. Solid gloves would be a life saver in that case.
That's because the speedometer runs 5 percent quicker than the real rear wheel speed. Another 5 percent come from wheel spin at these velocities, so approx. 10 percent difference. My 2000 Hayabusa's speedo showed around 335 kph when GPS on my Garmin GPS-receiver said 304 kph. A year later, in 2001, they banned speedometers which could show speeds bigger than 299.
@@ZeldaACFan17 It's called gentlemen's agreement. Apparently govt doesn't want people to have bikes that go faster than 300 kmh so the manufacturers came up with speedos that don't show more than 300 kmh even though it goes faster.

I'm an average rider and my mate gave me a shot of his 1000rr and just let me say if you're an average rider like me don't do it. I absolutely shit myself on it, things are ridiculously fast. But what a bike.

@@Turtle-RR Google “dog box transmission”. There are no synchro rings in a dog box and they are designed to be shifted without the use of a clutch. A quick shifter simply makes the process easier by cutting power momentarily to unload the gearbox enough to switch gears. Before quick shifters became common, the same could be accomplished by simply snapping the throttle forward quickly while simultaneously applying pressure to the gear shifter.
No way a cbr or R1 beating a Gsxr on a straight line. CBR1000rr is one of the slowest bike in its class and yet I see no one complaining about it. Its always the gixxer thats hated on despite it being competing with bikes with way more expensive tags
