@@AAL4302 sorry for the late reply, no issues with the bike and the riding is very smooth, it's a 250cc bike but as a beginner you have so much power you can go up to speed limit within like 3 seconds. overall it's very worth it for the price.
Drum roll !!! In my neighborhood I found a 2012 CBR250r up against a garage that had not moved in 5 years. The property owner was ready to take it FOR METAL SCRAP and I'm going to get it for $200... no dents or scrapes, fork tubes have some rust as does the chain. Could use a rear tire and a big cleanup. This will fit in nicely with my 2010 VFR 1200, my 2014 CB1100, and my new '23 Grom
@@6Ben.Dover9 - that’s a damn good price. I assume you mean USD? Mine has 10,000 (I converted from km) miles and cost me $3600 NZD which included pack and rack combo. So that’s about $2500 USD as far as I can tell? Pretty good for on the road modern bike in NZ.
Im looking forward to bike my first bike (im 18 years old) im just wondering if a cbr250 has enough power to have fun with? I dont need a bike which accalerate in 4sec from 0-100kmp but does the cbr250 accalerat fast enough to have fun with? How long does it take from 0-100kmp?? (Sorry for my englisch)
I am 5'8 just rode one.. leaned forward, plenty of weight on my hands... these are low bars.. which make it hard to turn your head around, and restrict peripheral vision, compared to a real upright position.. so the commentary is well, just wrong. Compare to bars and position on newer CBR300..
i had a cbr600rr and got rid of it instantly. Sucked for city riding ( i live in the city). Should've got a 250r. much more fun and would've been convenient to own for city maneuvering. oh well
Im currently ridding vfr750 3rd gen. I would like to have something like this, cheap, affordable, easy to maintain... Only problem is that I will be disappointed with the power.
Would you recommend this for driving 30miles 2 ways 3 times a week? I’d be using it for school I found a 2011 for 1500 and want to save as much money as possible while going to school as I’m currently un employed lol
Go Kermit Sewer side yup it’s a great commuter for that purpose, as long as it’s not too much highway, though the bike can hit 60/70mph easily and stay there :)
I think it's perfect just for that and for learning the fundamentals for the first few months. If you keep it in good shape you should be able to get exactly that same amounts back, maybe even more.
It's a GoPro Hero 3+ filming in superview 1080p :) I need to get an ND filter for it to tame that shutter, but I'll get that soon enough. I also want a gimbal for it! All these toys haha
We only have the KTM RC390 here in Canada. :P Best bet is to jump on both and give them a test ride. Nothing beats having some seat time because the ergonomics are different for each person :)
Jacob Jackson Hey Jacob I think you can definitely ride it but the ergonomics are going to feel quite cramped for someone of your stature. Perhaps the CBR500 might be worth a look or the Ninja 650? Something in the middle, the 250 is quite narrow!
that seems scary to me having such a lack of power. Halfway through there you barely beat that cyclist. Now try to get away from a car in a dangerous situation.
Ah. I'm learning to ride the 600RR. Barely getting to it's limits on public streets. Maybe I'll go track this year and learn it or I may go dual purpose and try some dirt :D
LIFE OF BRI I learned on this bike and fun to throw around but they are horriable for low speeds because the throttle is on off near idle and and same with the clutch but totally different than a slightly higher cc brc
Not with the typical problem ( that no offense to you or anyone..is unavoidable) of FRAMETIMEs not matching properly. That is the critical component of the problem of why 24fps ( with the exception of most movies that are done right) looks so choppy and not smooth in terms of fluidity of motion and often illustrations motion blurr. " more fps doesn't mean better". Do you work for ubisoft? They once said " resolution is just a number". Sure, when the standard dime a dozen resolutions of tv's and monitors hits around 300 bucks in price, of course. THEN we're to the point to where no matter how close we are to the display, it is beyond impossible to make out the individual pixels, and we've then basically reached the point to where ( ok. We have the same resolution of the movies being projected in theaters now. Finally, one progression of display tech that can just chill, prices can eventually bottom out, and that's one less thing people have to keep up with anymore.
Yup I agree with you fully that 24fps is choppy af without proper ND (as it is here). In a day or two I have a mini documentary with a few shots from GoPro on a formula ford race car filmed in 24fps with proper NDs. It's dope.

Fps pro gamers, for one perfect example, CANT react to seeing the opponent coming around and corner and shooting at them without being able to SEE them first. You will ALWAYS seem them faster with a higher framerate Now having spelled that out ...I do agree that there IS a limit or certain framerate ceiling in which we can't see beyond..which is probably somewhere between the 200 to 300 ish range. But saying we can't see beyond 24 fps..is absolute nonsense and you know it.. Go back to the past and stay there with your self-pointlessly-limited thinking.
