My friend had fully open Yoshimura 6-1 exhausts on his CBX when we drove from Sweden to Spain in 82. I still remember the sound in the Alp tunnels, like the old tie F1 cars.

I remember the kerker exhaust perfectly well, I also remember my KZ900 Kawasaki. God I had fun on that bike in the 1980's...

Deze 6-cilinder was voor die tijd heel snel. Maar zoals de Honda F2 750 hadden beide een te hoog geplaatst gewicht en zeker de 6-cilinder was bijna dodelijk in een bocht. Heb er enkele zien onderuit schuiven met soms dodelijke afloop. Maar heerlijk om mee te rijden 🤗🤗😘😮

Still utterly awesome Honda CBX with incredible presence after nearly 50 years! The only bike to have sounded like an F1 at high speed!

I used to trade my friend bikes for the day. Back in the late 70s. He had one of these 6cyl Hondas. Bike was totally stock. The bike was wicked fast. Watch out for headshake before you get to 100mph. Otherwise total adrenaline. It revd to like 11,000 rpm. I had riden lots of running bikes at that time.

My friend with that 6cyl Honda, he crashed it hard. He bought a new Goldwing. I traded him for that bike too. Loved loved that Goldwing.

I need to see a modern version of this bike. A cb and cbr version would be sick. Knowing honda tho, they'll probably try to throw it in a rebel, shadow, crf, and a nc.

Nope. We’ll just never see this engine in production ever again. In my opinion Honda is done experimenting and having fun with different engine platforms, designs, porting.
