Being the owner of city 2022 I can say lots of cost cutting things have been done. Cabin insulation materials, thin tyres, roof lining quality, infotainment system and the speakers suck big time, no cooling glove box for the top end at least.

I always love the video of Honda city just because of how elegant this car looks . Only car looks perfectly balanced in its segment .

The biggest flaw of Honda city is they haven't upgraded the design of the car as well.

It makes sense to offer hybrid in base variants as well without all other features, (disc braking, ADAS etc). It will cost less. That's the reason why someone would want a hybrid, to save fuel cost, so they must be also wanting to save bucks while buying a car.

Guys..can you tell me if i am an light foot driver where driving mostly in city traffic and my rpm is mostly below 2.5 ..will there be still rubber band effect in city cvt feels?

I bought this and have driven till 18k kms now few points 1 - suspension is not what I expected it's gud. , but needs improvement 2 - steering feedback was much better in my ford 3- breaking as fasial said should have been better may be tyre upsize would help 4- headlights flicker ( top end led headlight) on rough roads and honda says there is no solution to it , it's manufacturing defect and honda doesn't own that. 4- fog light is useless no throw , zero visibility of fog lights ( led ) 5- mileage is gud iam getting 16 kmpl mix of highway and City 6- The engine is great , between 4500 and 6000 RPM it's great fun 7- built quality is gud , interiors quality is top notch 8- boot space is great 9 - ADAS works seamless and very usefull 10- 6 airbags and collision mitigation like features are very assuring Over all a few miss could have been avoided in the top model worth 17 lacs , like cooled glove box , adjustable hand rest , better quality hand rest at back , better door pocket space , could have given better quality headlights , thigh support in seats are not adequate

I really think more engine choices can do Honda a world of good here in India Just the Diesel alone would boost their sales, plus they have a fantastic 1 litre turbo petrol They have the tools yaar.. Hondas market research team must be huffin some hard copium 😩

I've owned an Alto, A-Star, Tata Zest and a Ciaz. Recently took City facelift. Engine and steering are so amazing that the negatives get outweighed easily !

One thing I don't know Faisal never talks about that a 3rd Generation Honda City (2010-2013) can smoke this 5th Gen any day any time. I have driven both trust me you will feel the difference instantly between the pull of the 2 cars. 3rd gen will push you in the seats when accelerated hard. This one is more linear power delivery. Why Honda Why ??
