Please check these point or get it checked. 1. If engine oil is not changed since 5000km or 6months, drain it and change with 5w30 or honda idemitsu. 2. Clutch assembly. 3. Air filter. 4. Then there are high chances of mileage drop, coz above 4000 or at 4500 ivtec gets activated which boost engine power and to get more power fuel burns more in combustion chamber. ** Did you reset the trip meter before checking this? If not than its incorrect.

When you are driving on 5th gear your car should be ideally above 50kmph. Below this can harm gear.

Around 2k to 3k rpm when acceleration. And release accelerator completely when shifting gears. Sometimes you may pull upto higher RPM for engine smoothness and that helps in blow out carbon deposit in engine.
