The city is better than Elevate in every aspect like Handling, better tuned Engine,Better mileage,Space, Comfort,Ride Quality, feature loaded from base variant etc and Elevate has better Ground clearance, touchscreen (in ZX only) and wide tyres
Wider tyres and huge ground clearance are decisive pros for many. Moreover, Elevates engine is tuned for a SUV so it’s not a matter of better and worse here.
@@AshutoshYadav008 They have tuned the engine for fuel efficiency in Elevate which we can't expect from a car with raised bonnet and overall height..Where the City's engine feels Raw and Sudden acceleration feels like Car is flying when Revv till 7000RPM+ Roar of Engine makes overall Experience much much better for a car enthusiast
I have test drive both but Honda Elevate is better than city in comfort ,Honda city we have to sit downwards which is not good for long drives ,then the visibility is superb in Elevate,But of course Honda city comes with Adas in base variant .
My parents wanted a City, but when we tested it they had difficulty getting in and out of the backseat due to the low position. Booked Elevate as the height and leg room made it easier for them to get in and out. Decide basis your criteria as both are good and easy to drive.
Hybrid of city is in different league bro . City’s hybrid way better than hyryder and grand vitara strong hybrid . Here competition / comparison is only between na petrol cars of city and elevate
@@pankajkaushik7744 Boot is sufficient. Recently we did a trip of around 1650km.We had 2 Big trolley bags,2 normal bags,1laptop bag,1 baby bag and other small stuff. Its very sufficient..
It actually depends on your usage...will you drive more in city or highways ...Id take elevate for highways n hills ..although city's is a breeze to drive even on highways
I test-drove both yesterday. I liked the Elevate better. It feels cocooned. With the City, you feel like you're you're right in the middle of the traffic. In the Elevate, however, the chaos seems far away.
Now a days most of them own suv and most of these gawars have no idea of high beam ..and sedan people get straight flood light into tgeir eyes .. that' s why i need suv otherwise now roads are too good and there us no need if suv now
I bought bs6.2 city vx mt when elevate booking was on , during first service I checked out the elevate and thanked god I got the city instead of elevate, all four one touch windows, driver seat sets it apart. The tyres are thin but comfy coz bridgestone, doesn't scrape belly, rubbish fog lights. They shouldn't have given honda city front seats on elevate and few knick knacks should have been a good addition. Some more cons lack of USB c,but 180w point can run two laptops at once, non folding rear seats was definitely a point since we upgraded from Euro2 Maruti 800 mpfi which has folding seats and does move commercial stuff for me,
You can upgrade the tyres and probably even get 1 size bigger. If you don’t want to upsize, just get better quality rubber. It’ll transform the driving experience
I went delhi some days before , navigation take us in village where road was pathetic, i was driving ciaz but it touched 3-4 times on ground , i was missing suv like thar or elevate
Did you noticed that Honda Elevate's engine insulation is not up to the mark... There are lots of engine noise and tyre noise coming in the cabin, while driving...
City tyres are problematic, In just 15 months, I had 3 major punctures and all these punctures the tyers were flat, no chance of driving it further. One of them was when I was cruising on highway at 90 km speed, and other two punturers were, when car went through sharp pothole at speed of around 45 km and both tyers flat on the spot. Such a frustrating thing when this happens to you.
Being an owner of Hyundai i20 Asta O ivt, I have driven it everywhere in my state and have had no troubles till now. I'm absolutely loving the looks, features, comfort and driving experience of the i20. The only downside is the reduced mileage in rush hour city traffic.
Actually city has become too long that it is extremely difficult to drive city in city . Otherwise it is a fantastic car . Honda needs to bring Honda city hatchback in India for convenient manoeuvrability in crowded city areas .
You sit very low in city . Legs are folded and in long distance elevate will feel comfortable. Elevate has bigger tires which offer grip and better ride over bad surface.
Drive both side by side and you will feel City is better in terms of performance and handling with no evident body roll. The Ride quality is steller. Elevate has more ground clearance while City overall feels more complete as a product.
They are lying about Elevate being more comfortable!! I have test driven both of them recently and believe me guys, to my surprise, It's the City that does everything better than Elevate. It's the City that feels more plush on bad roads with little to no suspension noise. It's the City that has no evident body roll. It's the City that has better driving dynamics. It's the City that has better sound insulation. It's the City that has more comfortable seating position. It's the City that has better performance. It's the City that feels more complete and refined product.
Confused between buying city and elevate please suggest the best. I am family of four members. I one thing i worried about the city is the ground clearance. So confused to decide
I currently own a 2023 city and have done a few trips recently on village roads with 5 people on board including luggage but never scrapped the bottom of the car, The only thing is you have to negotiate the potholes well. Mileage in traffic is not that great and i'm talking about manual transmission. So, if you are ok with mileage in the traffic just go for it. And if budget allows just get the ZX variant.
There is nothing to compare between these two car. They both belongs to completely different categories of car. City is a mid size sedan. Elevate is a SUV. City has better aerodynamic design, which helps it to face less wind drag . Lesser ground cleareence will provide better handling and traction, which obviously gives enthusiastic drivers a big smile. However I believe honda should provide at least 205/55 R16 stock tyres , currently the stock tyres are trash. Elevate on the other hand , has tyres 215/60 R 16 and 215/R17. Considering the tyres of honda city a bit less thick and lower profile will provide better acceleration as well as good millage. City also has bigger bootspace 506l, than of Elevate 458l As a sedan and coupe lover , my vote will go for City.
Bought the City a couple months ago, the Elevate had one major issue. It wasnt the Honda City. That is the kind of fondness which made us get the City. Everythings just perfect.
I am quite confused between two options - the Honda City or Elevate. Both seem like great choices, but I can't seem to make up my mind on which one would be the best fit for me. Currently, I own a sedan and it has served me well over the years.
I have driven both. Key hole position in elevate is not good. Interior dual color tone is not luxury. Front grill design and connected taillight design are not impressive. Feels like ordinary SUV.
@@ankushbehera1853160 km/h....but utna kon hi chalta hai...jinko thodi high ground clearance chahiye unke liye elevate best hai..and city is city ..both cars are fantastic
@@aviroopdas400 yeah no other car in the segment have any speed limiter....but in elevate considering its a (SUV) it's given for safety....but I think it could be removed using ECU remap
Don't buy Honda car's because Company is not confident of our products of more then 5 years, fot that they can't renew extend warranty more then 5 yares.
@@snehamangtani172same here i weny for elevate but fell in love with city again as i previously had 2010 honda city i test drove so many but no drive or comfort like city city is emotion which city owner will understand ❤
u can go cry in the corner.... me who recently shifted from Turbo verna to Honda city 5th gen can confirm that my jaw dropped wen i test drove Honda... as I had no experience of this company before... I cudnt believe how on this same segment this car can be that good... da handling... ride quality... revving of i-vtec... that roaring sound... smooth as butter gear shifter.... light clutch... sporty driving position... awesome built leather wrapped steering wheel with crazy feedback... seats so dam good... a car lover can't ask for more in this price range
I guess you haven't driven or owned other brands. Believe me, when it comes to driving dynamics, ride & handling balance and comfort, Hondas are far better than Koreans.
