Thank you for filming this. I'm halfway through this rebuild and these videos help so much. Crazy how many parts there are, if anybody else tries this for the first time it's probably a good idea to label everything and put the clean stuff in bags. Hopefully, it all goes back together as easy as it came apart.
Update: I got it done and the only special tool I needed was the gear puller like the one in the video. I did run into a few big issues though. I got a cheap ebay rebuild kit and it didn't come with the right size clutch packs. The packs that the kit came with wouldn't even fit inside the baskets. I had to mix and match using a few of the smaller oem ones in each pack to get the compression tolerance close. After way too much time trying different combinations, I got all the clutch packs to compress just enough. I found a forum post with clutch pack specs for a similar year honda fit and used the average of those. Got them all close to 1mm of compression. Luckily it all worked out because it's not my car. I was working full time and doing this in the evenings. it took me a full month to finish everything. Long story short, I won't ever open up an auto transmission again. Next time I will replace the whole transmission or have a shop do it that specializes in autos. Side note. I had to drop the whole subframe and lower the trans out the bottom because the engine-bay is way too small to pull it out the top.
amigo, sabe me informa uma dúvida? tenho um honda new civic 2007 1.8 aut que esta com defeito, dizem que é fulga interna, mas estou passando uma dificuldade financeira, e estava vendo outro cambio já pronto. acabei vendo que os civic da versão G9 1.8 entre 2012 2013 até 2014 são o mesmo cambio, mudando somente a base do cambio... onde do meu os parafusos do suporte do coxim os 3 parafusos saem e dos civic 1.8 2012 a 2014, 2 parafusos são fixo. será se posso comprar e se caso daria certo esse cambio desse ano? ou muda alguma outra coisa neles? os valores estão mais em conta que os cambios anunciados do ano 2007 a 2011... diferença muito boa que daria pra comprar e pagar no cartão de boa. me ajuda nessa duvida pfvr!
