All these people talking about the cars like they know how they work, get a car with a k series in it then try to gun it with traction and shift before the redline, guarantee you will stall or be in extremely low rpms in second.
That isn't launch control. That is just the delimiter limit for K20A series when car is not in gear. And who the fuck launching a car at 5000rpm anyway?
when theyre ripping, most of the time they break traction, so if they shift the seccond they hit limiter, they wont be in the powerband... I THINK they have to bang limiter so like the wheel speed, and speed of the car match so when they shift they are still well within powerband... idk tho i might be wrong
Why is almost every person in the video not shifting? You're not supposed to redline it and drive 5 miles down the street without shifting... It doesn't get you anywhere and it sounds terrible. If you're set on pretending something meant as a slow economy car is a race car, at least learn to get out of first gear...

When you finally graduate school and get your first car, lemme know how long it lasts driving like an imbecile and burying the needed so it farts along down the road instead of actually shifting. There are these amazing things called transmissions, they do this miraculous thing called shifting. The changes the gear ratio so you can reach higher speeds. It does that for a reason. Fucking amazing, I know.

+Niall .Hemmings tell me about it fucking bellend tuners will go for big power but the things that make the car go, the tyres will be some cheap ass budget ones. I've sat in fast civics and if the suspension and tyres are good them civics are road legal weapons.
they dont shift because since they break traction,, if they shift too early the car will not be in its power band and gain traction again... thus making the car bog,, they hold it out to get the vehicle speed to "match up" with wheel speed so that doesnt happen
One day we will rid the world of ricers but at the same time tuners. it would be so great but yet so sad. like if you will cry when they make petrol and diesel cars illegal due to global warming.
