Amazing review but a few pointers as I personally own this car for the past 8 years: 1) It has better insulation then reborn, i won't say it's good on the front because road noise is there but don't forget you are riding on 17 inch wheels which make the car more noisy and the suspension becomes really hard as well. Reason why I said the insulation is not bad, they have added fabric material between the rear tyres and body and it's clearly visible as well, it wasn't there in reborn. 2) The ride is wayy more comfortable than reborn, you couldn't feel it because of 17 inch wheels. 3) you forgot to mention that this car is a bit aerodynamically made, the ride height is also more, it never touches down on bumps etc like reborn used to. 3) I have the manual gear variant, it drives like anything, emmense power! And i get 12 13 city average with AC. 4) since I have 205/65/15 Yokohama tyres, the ride is really comfortable and cornering is also amazing, i have done cornering in 80 plus speeds as well, all good there. Lastly, I agree it's way better than a corolla. All in all you posted a great review!

As a rebirth owner I can attest to all that dr said about the car The car is great for city travelling but not stable at high speeds due to an electronic power steering and its chassis There is considerable body roll and road noise definitely an issue but overall it’s a great car in its price and perfect for a family On another note I know that looks are subjective but i would prefer this interior over any other car

Decent review but missed the mark on a few things. The reviewer tested the vehicle on non stock tyres taking away the weightage of his opinion on suspension, road noise and comfort.The reviewer seems confused on if to call it a driver centric car or not. He missed on minor details such as manual seat high adjustment, much more advanced iMID screen, better sound system than 8th generation, cruise control. 8th generation imo is of no competition to 9th gen in terms of features which in 2022 the so called B segment sedans have caught on to and not even fully. I personally think only a fool would buy Yaris, City and Alsvin over this car. Wasnt sure why he kept calling it emergency facelift when the "facelift" version in Pakistan came in late 2015 and wasnt even fully utilized.
Bolne ke tareqqa aur lehja kamaal hai... Suneel saab ke awaaz ma shor bohot hai.. Iss banday ko na hichkichahat hai aur saaf sutri decent tone main to the point baat ki hai..
if you change the bush’s front and back after a while it makes such a huge difference in a rebirth… genuine bush’s are perfect do it once’s in 6 months and ur rebirth suspension will stay great

thanks for the review. the body roll is due to the thinner rear sway bar installed in this car if you upgrade the rear sway bar with a thicker rod it will drive like a reborn. its my personal experience as ive owned many variants of honda civic in my life so i know what am talking about. ive also sell those A pillars to this guy specially made to accomodate factory tweeters imported from honda indonesia. the ride comfort and handling can also become better with factory 15 inch light weight rims and imported michelin tyres in size 205/65/r15.
I got civic rebirth brand new top of the line variant zero meter back in 2014 and I still have it with 71000 kms(geniune authentic) on the ODO (as most of them have been tampered). I have kept it with extreme care and drove it carefully as its in completely geniune condition as they say bumper to bumer. 1. This car with time produces a rattling noise which the dealership said is the timing belt tensioner problem which i got replaced but from many people i heard this comes back again with time but still my car till now is fine. 2 It has some catalytic converter issue which is normally to be cleaned after like 50,000 kms approx in other cars but in this I clean it after every 10,000 kms. 3 the suspension is a bit hard where it provides quite good manovuvring but when driven on slight rough roads on daily basis then the bushes needs to be replaced. 4 As I am the kind of person that rarely installs aftermarket stuff so the multimedia system that I am using in it is the geniune one which is very very slow specially when it comes to rear camera and the side covers of sd card and gps card are very very sensitive. I still do have them intact on it but in majority of the cars they have fallen from the system and gives not so good look. 5 the steering buttons are to be used very carefully and avoid unnecessary touches as the get worn out very easily. Apart from these issues I have kept it since 2014 and I still like its driving pleasure more then the civic X and corolla grande as I own both of them too but this model is still my favourite.
@@salihkhan5941 99.9 percent okay. Only the greenish part on driver side door panel where power window buttons and side mirror button are present is worn off. The matte poweder is gone and the gloss beneath the powder is visible which is 100 percent clear and glossy green.
@@hamzanasir5575 I clean it from the authorised 3S dealership but not necessarily after 10,000 kms exact .The head mechanic there is very helpful person so he checks it every 10,000 kms as he advised that CATs in these models are a bit sensetive and have issues so sometimes its cleaned after 15000kms if not needed on 10,000 kms and sometimes on 10,000 kms but minimum mileage I have kept for checking and cleaning is 10,000 as I am a bit paranoid when it comes maintainence in cars.
The i-vtec system in R18 runs only on economy cam profile. There is no performance cam on R18 engines. i-vtec on R18 only works between 1000 to 3500 rpm when the throttle is under light load and switches to normal cam if the car is pushed. R18 still has more than enough power to keep up with daily driving.
What a Ridiculous review like u got paid to talk bad about the car.. 0-100 touched in 10.20 sec but timer shows something else and ECO mode is On.. Cabin noise obviously zada ho gi agar stock wheels hata ke barre 17 inch ke wheels lagain gain.. and tail ki baat ki wo bhi big tyres ki waja se effect hoti.. The “Emergency facelift” was never an emergency.. 2015 me aya facelift which JUST added 2 more cameras and grill change THATS IT. How did u make up your own story “People dint like it so they did a emergency facelift” 🤡 or yar apko gari ka review daina tha Reborn or rebirth ka comparison nahi. Shame on Pakwheels for always bringing civic down
this car is much better choice than civic x i work in honda the quality is much better than civic x and zero complains from this model in our dealership except low beam bulbs thats an manufacturing fault

Excellent review and very knowledgeable expert. However, I do beg to differ with a few things. I have both Civic from 2015 and 2018 and found this much more stable than the newer generation. As for the noise it may be noisy but still far better than other cars of its class. The one I have has carpet mufflers over the rear wheels and is much less noisier than Corolla and in line with Civic 2018.

Firstly maintenance aik cheez hoti ha jisse pick aur response behtar hota ha. Secondly road noise k liye market mein advan db decibal Yokohama tyres milte han. I had stock oriel and was vibration free and noise less till 140. After installing 17 inch alloys now it has a better handling but vibration has increased above 140. Its not that I own one so i am saying, i also have civic x and compared to it i think rebirth is better in terms of quality and meter. Only drawback is that its suspension is a bit stiffer than altis.

as rebirth owner , this is for sure better than rest of all previous generations ( compared to features offered in local market, which is still par below to what is offered globally ) comfort level is much better than any locally assembled car, not a big fuel guzzler if one drives with soft foot , easy to maintain , yet road noise is much annoying Front of car is much better compared to rare boot ( personal choice ) , yet for a price bracket , this is perhaps a great choice as family car this car is primarily placed as family car , getting a 0-100 speed test may or may not be the most appropriate comparison, this car should be tested for comfort , endurance and safety features . Simultaneously , reviewer has changed overall look of the car , should have kept the originality or could have gone for Si variant

@@abdurraheem1592 Me too. It only effects acceleration at part throttle. At WOT, which means Wide Open Throttle, there is no difference between eco mode on or off.
i had a rebirth 2014 model for more then a year and dude its a perfect car mine was in such a pristine condition i always miss it but yeah i highly recommend it ( if you need any help and got some questions about ur rebirth leave them down below and i’ll reply and try to help you)

Following into your comment's sarcastic theme, alas, what you stated is absolutely true! It's exasperating and incredible to see how many mistakes are there in this review. Although I wouldn't blame it altogether on the reviewer, because the reviewer did his job eloquently in the Changan Alsvin review, and also in this review to some extent. It was mostly the wrong car used for this review. The production team for this video should have arranged a stock Civic Rebirth for this video.
Good way of delivering review. But don't know why u were telling more about international market than the Pakistani market. Like facelift came into Pakistan on 2015. Being a user of Rebirth, I'll add few things: Your thoughts on looks and noise were right. Interior quality is also inferior. But it's interior and driver console is best of all. It's performance, fuel average is best of all. It's ground clearance is best of all civics.
This review is totally unfair...as this car introduced many more functions in pakistan for the first time...the car is very comfartable as im using it for 2 years...torque response is very good if eco mode is off...yes suspension is bit stiff but you know this is honda car...it was a luxurious car at his time...
Sir plz keep in mind always bigger number of the rims with lower the profile of tyres makes the car more stable as compared to smaller the size of rims with greater the profile of tyres

India never got the 9gen civic as far as I know they skipped the 9gen after the 8gen and then only sold the 10gen was sold for around 2years and discontinued

These models are waiting for their next generation. The Honda Civic will, however, be launched in Pakistan 🇵🇰 first. Honda India Ltd. is in the process of re-tooling their plants to manufacture the next generations of the above-mentioned Honda models. Only the Honda Accord is assembled in India 🇮🇳 . The rest of the models are manufactured in India at the ratio of 💯 per cent, 70/30 to 80/20 (70 and 80 being indigenously manufactured ), depending upon the models. And the car companies have to export as well. That's basic auto law in a nutshell.
