In my opinion, you cannot give points to a car when the difference is that nominal within 5 years of ownership. $500 difference over a 5 year period is not even $9 a month, especially when the price difference is over $3000. Furthermore, you might find better deals in a VW than in a Honda dealer if buying new.
Honda will blow Volkswagen out the park with reliability on all their vehicles let’s not forget that. Honda is just like Toyota, something Volkswagen could never beat.
