Wife and I each have one I'm now at 4000 kms and love it. We'll be hauling them to Florida to ride a month boom docking from place to place with a truck camper. Before leaving Seat Concepts saddle are to be installed on both. Also a new pair of 50/50 tires. Perfect for our ridding black top sand and gravel country roads.
Vit Saf yes I did install. On mine I got the regular height and like it a lot. Big difference. The other one we got the lower model it's an improvement but not as food as the regular high.
From seeing how many people use the regular Honda CRF250L for long distance & World country crossing I must disagree. The Honda Rally & regular CRF250L are perfect for their audience. Which seems to be: - For the budget conscience - It's 5,000 to 6,000 USD - For gas conscience. It gets 70 miles per gallon - For speed conscience. A 250 can cruse comfortably at normal HWY speeds Honda already has a 500 in their X line anyway.
No it a 250 dirt bike, 250 single cylinder, or go buy a versys, wait the diet reveiws arent even close to as good, its a 250 rally bike styled after the dakar bikes, they are talking about a 450 and limited run 1000 rally bikes go spend 10-20k usd on a a rally bike i commute on mine I love the power band, and ability to go and park anywhere
I had to lower mine which is a linkage and new kickstand. Its a fun bike and people love it. On highway? Not bad. Over 100km it gets more challenging. But I do it and I love it
Can't understand people whining about the size of the engine. Why would you need 650 ccm and +180 km/h top speed on a trail? It is not a highway touring bike. If that is what you looking for go buy an Africa Twin.
I have one and I really like it. It feels way faster than a 250; I drive all conditions and all terrains but mainly as a commuter. I keep up with traffic on the highway. My wanker bike buddies don't really like it but I have yet to see them follow me off road.
If this bike came with ABS here in Canada i would have bought it. Living in Vancouver with the rain and it being a first bike i wanted ABS. I truly do love that bike it looks and feels awesome, i do think they should throw the 300 engine in there though and let Canada in on the ABS option too.
These guys mention that it's incredible while riding it off-road but would be worth it, if Canada's terminology for off road, would resemble woods with dirt trails.
Please Mr Honda.....continue this design, it's beautiful, practical and user friendly. Put two to three different size motors in 'em. Push the AT motor to 1200, put a three cylinder 1000 in this must have for us.....please!!!!
@@EdisnFox there are such thing as highways you know. perfect example...my 701 enduro can go 80mph on highway and do single track and trails around colorado
A old aprillia Touraq rally looked better.or the old crf 250. The 2017,2018 crf 250 rally fuel tank needs the be wider and taller. The tank needs to be wider, so that the knees are more protected. A 6th gear. 350cc. Upside down forks. Gold Red Black color. A Yamaha 660Z or BMW Gs600 ,800 sitting way better, but too much cc's when fully loaded up with duffels bags.
florinsi I’m curious whether or not you’ve ever owned a KTM? You seem to troll every off road video and comment about them. I bought my 690 enduro r and rode it almost immediately from Vancouver to Inuvik and back with zero problems. I guess haters gonna hate though
