I’m glad I watched. Great detailed review. I’m sorry it came with so many cons. You should get a cover that has all them lil con covered. The minute you reviewed it that was spotted, why can a company correct something that you easily verified as a flaw. I’ll pass because EndLessRPM rpm takes 12 weeks to arrive but its a set that completely covers your seat covers lol. Thumbs up for the video by the way.
Yeah looks like they need to work on a better design on how it fits to the armrest. Also I've seen many designs where it's not fitted to the headrests and just wraps over the top and not the sides. Still not too bad considering the prices though little information furnished on materials used and thicknesses. And some companies have only been in business a year or less. May last 6 months to a year and then you have to purchase again? Who knows. Be hard to get a replacement against warranty in another country with a new startup company. Might be worth just saving the money in repairing the original seats in the long run
Dear thank you for giving such many advise to us,we will constantly improving and reflect the idea the production research and development department of us.thank you.
Hi there. I still have these installed, but the elastic bands that hold them to the seats are worn and stretched out. The seat pads for both the front seats tend to slip off, especially when exiting the vehicle. It's a little annoying to constantly have to pull it back onto the seat. The rear seat ones have fared a bit better but I think that's because we have two car seats installed on top of them and that's keeping them in place. The condition is fine. They don't look too worn or tattered at all, but they do collect a lot of crumbs in the seams so if you have kids that snack in the car, expect to not to vacuum the seats every few weeks (months? haha).
Good questions! I did reach out to the manufacturer with this question and the response was that if the seat has a side impact airbag, the seat cover could inhibit proper functioning of airbag in the event of a side impact. For this reason they recommend using the seat cover (for the front driver/passenger back) only on seats that don't have side impact air bags. There are other seat covers on the market that account for this configuration explicitly, so I would check with the vendor/manufacturer before making a purchase just to be sure.
Okay question, the back of my front seat has a plastic part attached, it contains a pouch. This rather large piece prevents me from passing through the seat. What should I do?
You technically don't need to pass through the seat entirely. As long as the plastic "retaining ring" can slip between the seat back and seat cushion and be positioned vertically so that it won't slide back out. It can be a bit tricky, I think, even in seats that do allow you to pass through entirely to the opposite side.
I haven't reviewed seat covers for that particular model, but I did a quick search on Amazon for you and found these: geni.us/pe4WZ [Amazon Affiliate Search Link] I hope this helps.
Thanks for this but I have a 2014 crv EX and I wonder if you had any issues with the armrest? Do you think these would still work even with armrests?( I won't be covering te armrests) Also these cover seem to cover your side airbags. Will the side au Aga be able to replay under these covers?? Thanks
That's funny, it hadn't occurred to me that the front seats don't have arm rests on my model, but you're right, I don't know that these would fit on seats with arm rest because it wraps around the sides of the seat. Best case it'd create a bunched up wrinkle at the point where the arm rest connects to the seat. The manufacturer did confirm that these would impede the functionality of the side air bags in the front seats, which I also didn't consider originally, but given that these seat covers didn't hold up much more than a year (the elastic straps are no longer elastic and the seat portions don't stay in place) I wouldn't really recommend these at this point anyway. There are come custom seat cover manufacturers that will ask specifically if your seats have side air bags and ensure that their covers accommodate them. Northwest Seat Covers comes to mind as does ShearComfort.
This is the black color one: geni.us/QO0kc [Amazon Affiliate Product Link] and I agree with the reviewer that said the front seat portions slip off sometimes since the attachment straps aren't the best.
I'm not sure if these would fit that particular model, but you could try asking the vendor. I found some custom fit leather seat covers from other brands on Amazon that might work: geni.us/OwAjZzy [Amazon Affiliate Product Link]
I've been looking for seat covers like this for my 2016 T4R. Do you know if they make it for T4R or not? I haven't found any similar covers like these yet. Not even in different brands
Sorry, I'm not sure. They have a pretty limited list of custom models, so you'll have to reach out to the manufacturer to find out or maybe try a generic sized fit.
I would say these were probably good for about a year before the elastic holding them in place started to give out. Now they are a bit loose. The back seat ones aren't so bad because they don't experience heavy use, but the front ones slide around, even though the surface of the material is in good condition. I'd love to find a more form fitting cover with a better attachment system than the elastic band and hooks combo, but it's hard to find leather ones as opposed to fabric that are also custom fit.
FH Group sells some custom ones for the 2013 CRV: geni.us/7nfu [Amazon Affiliate Product Link]You can also message them to see if they have other colors.
Sorry, I figured CR-V owners would already know how to do that, since you know, putting down the seats is a major selling point for most buyers so they probably already do that all the time. I did show one of the seat release pulls at 2:04 which releases the upper portion of the seat so it can be lain down. There is one on both sides. Then there's another pull tab on the outer corners under the seat cushions so they can be released forward. The instructions for putting the seats down should be in the CR-V user manual.
Hm, I don't know about the 2017. The listing only says 2015 and 2016, but you should confirm with the vendor if you need it for the 2017 model. I got mine on Amazon: geni.us/CEh9 [Affiliate Product Link]
I didn't see that model listed in the Kust catalog, but I did find a set on Amazon here: geni.us/Avg17 [Amazon Affiliate Product Link] but they don't offer the matching rear seat covers and it says "low back" so I'm not sure if that's a separate option not applicable to all models.
Hi Juan, I'm not sure if Kust has seat covers for that particular model. However, I found some custom fit leather seat covers from other brands on Amazon that might work: geni.us/jp9K [Amazon Affiliate Product Link]
Yeah, the seat covers didn't hold up to as much use as I initially thought they would. After several months they keep slipping from the seats because the attachment points aren't so secure. If you have a better product I'd love to hear more about it. What vehicles do you have them available for?
