Learn how to play videos, or view photos that are on your smartphone right on the 7-inch Display Audio screen when you’re parked and have some time on your hands.
Wow ! That is slick. When my wife goes shopping, I sit in the car. I usually watch RU-vid on my tiny little phone. Now I can watch it on the Passport's display. Thanks for posting. Barry
Hi, can we play music from phone on 2010 Honda Odyssey through Bluetooth? I was able to do it only once in the past but now it’s not working, I would appreciate any help. Thanks
Seems so strange that my USB thumb drive couldn't also be used for MP4 video. So much easier than all the cable swapping hookup to use my phone for videos I already happen to have on the same thumb drive I use for music.
Batteries in modern cars are smaller (presumably to save gas),so cars with larger built-in displays will wear the battery down quick. My 2015 CRV's battery recently went dead while listening for about 45 minutes while my wife had her hair done. Needed a jump to get it started. Run the car for a while to do watch a video. Then you will be getting 0 mpg
This practice is not user-friendly in 2022. Honda should design & allow us to play any streaming video directly from the player. For safety reasons, they could block apps such as RU-vid if the car is not in Park Mode. Present Honda car needs to connect the phone to USB when you want to use Android Auto / Google Map. The suck practice in 2022. It should be hassle-free practice together with safety features enabled.
you will also need an HDMI to (whatever phone you have) Adapter. like for example i have an Iphone i would need an HDMI to lightening cable adapter. approx. around $40 in google search.
Thats a lie, you can do it while driving. Hold the Power, Eject and Home Button at the same time. Option will pop up. Click on Details. Then hold on Menu button for 3 seconds. Look for Vehicle Information and Look for DDVSP and turn if off.

I know. The whole point is to keep the kids busy while you are driving. This would be worst than sitting in traffic. Its more like watching a video after your car breaks down.
I DONT HAVE TO WATCH VIDEO ON THE SCREEN. MIGHT AS WELL WATCH IT ON THE MOBILE. AND CAN MOVE AROUND TE GROUND WHILE THE KIDS AS WARMING UP!!!!!!BETTER POST SOMETHING USEFUL
