Great video, the wobbly seat has been a problem for years. I was holding off on fixing it for a couple of year because I was under the impression that the seat had to be removed. Luckily I came across your video and Was able to fix the seat in less than 1/2 hour. Your step by step instructions were clear, video was relevant to the task. 2 thumbs up. Looking forward to your other videos.
Wow, a mechanic told me years ago that I'd need to replace the seat, so I've just lived with this issue. This took me all of about 20 minutes to fix. I used Loctite, so hopefully it won't recur anytime soon. But if it does, I'll know what to do. Thank you for this! Subscribed!
As Mountain Biker mentioned, great vid. Thanks for putting it together. Also, DO make sure to use thread lock before retightening. It WILL loosen again on its own, sooner than you think. I ended up doing this process twice by skipping that very important step the first time.
You got a subscriber today! I thought my seat was done for. Plus after a car accident injury to my back, it was harder to drive my Element with its rocky seat. Thanks for this one man!
Cool. I didnt know it was a recall on that. I will research to see what they did to solve that problem and maybe make a video of it. Thanks for the info. 👍
Thanks man. I just put in the hiros and was getting a clunk/pop on the driver side. This was the problem. It's awesome it's just bolts and not having to replace new bushings.
Good in car example most people believe you are required to remove the seat and disconnect the side airbag. Clearly you do not. Please be aware that most often the shims under those nuts wear out and need to be replaced. Tightening the nuts will not fix the problem. Part # 90502-S3N-013.
