Your way of presentation in this video specially in starting od the video is too good... I suggest you to keep it continue because it engage the viewer right from the starting... I am subscriber of motoroctane for the last several years but this video get more attention of mine just because of the introduction part how you tell about the best of cars in segment...
Honda hasn't announced its price yet because they're trying to observe the market demand & motor experts' opinions. And of course, they will definitely compare it with the competitions. This is highly likely to be priced around 12-16 lakhs.
@@Samarth9 I agree. But if it is the on-road price then it can make a difference. Dual tone version looks good. Single colored version looks bad. Which means lower variants are less likely to attract Indian consumers.
I don't like the design. Creta & Seltos have better design. Also the tyres are low profile of 215/55 R17. SUVs need atleast 60 for sidewall. 215/60 R17 is the perfect tyre size for cars of this segment.
12-16 would be the right price bracket. Given that it's not a sub 4m car. So it will not directly compete with compact SUVs but at the same time people can see this as a better value for money product. Since this engine is of the reliable around
Honda must price it aggressively if they are serious about future in India…. Honda should forget high profit, instead increase market share & presence…. It looks like a winner if priced modestly
Honda’s market capture has deviated from India. They’re having challenges with material procurement on a higher level and supply chain is still at limbo. If honda gains little to no profit in India it’s because it’s focus has been pivoted in recent times. Mind you, the top tier Honda still regulates budgets for R&D for country specific or region specific cars. I live in North America we get design refresh in every 5 years, the last change they implemented they got 2 years waiting on entry level cars like civic and closed the bookings for flagships like accord hybrid.
What I feel is that Honda has given a perfect mix of everything in the segment.. It has the space, fit, finish, network and features of a Hyundai/Kia (Not many, but enough to suffice), the safety and driving dynamics of Skoda/VW, premium interiors of Astor and the network, efficiency (1.5 NA) and reliability of Suzuki/Toyota.. And yes, you have Honda's own USPs like the V-TEC Power, reliability, supreme comfort, amazing service, safety, and good fit and finish.. Defenitely, this is not everyone's cup of tea.. Only a person who understood this product can consider going for it ❤
I have been driving Honda Brio for last 10 years and Jazz CVT for last 4.5 Years and i completely agree what you have said. A car should be bought for mechanical capabilities and not for just features.
Yes this might not be a direct competition for Seltos or Creta. But Honda might be after the Nexon, Sonet and Venue buyers. Honda wants them to upgrade to their bigger car with similar or more features.
what’s the fun of ADAS… i would prefer have rear disc brakes, electronic parking brake… anyway would book for the engine and ground clearance… will wait for safety ratings before delivery..
I like this car.. there is something about it, that just feels right. Maybe it's the stance & the front badge. I was looking at Hyryder but the waiting period on it is 2 years. This looks promising though have to take a test drive first.
@@iridium8341 Yes. I don’t understand what Honda is thinking. Going with a single engine option with the competition offering 3 engine options is like taking a knife for a gun fight.
It’s unfair to expect it to be cheaper than Creta. Base model Creta offers nothing but bare bones, while base model City is such VFM, I’m sure it will be the same with Elevate. I’m all down for Elevate.
features are necessary only, which we can use in everyday life or ride. bekar ki 50 features k liye 5-10 lakh zyada dekar kabhi use nahi karenge toh.... iska kuch matlab hi nahi
I know that Honda NA engines are the best in their segment. But in this day and age still, no turbo engine when they have a 1L turbo engine is kind of a deal breaker for performance-oriented people like me. The design is definitely growing on me at least on the front but only a single engine option is kind of a deal breaker. We were considering Kushaq with 1.5 MT and we still might go that route only but if an opportunity provides itself and I would like to test drive this once before making a final decision. Baaki Honda's reliability, safety and dynamics are still way superior than what the Korean siblings provide in India.
Can't wait that long and as Kushaq has been in the market for 2 years almost all the problems have been ironed out apart from some small niggles.@@warmfishsalad
Actually Honda ka 1.5 ltr turbo charged i-vtec engine bhi ata hein Japanese, America aur Canada ki market mein jaha pe voh 180-250 hp banata hei (depending on which market you see). But mere bolne ka matlab yehi hein ki Honda ke paas engine hein parr Honda India ka objective alag hein aur thoda lazy bhi hein. Mein Honda ka perspective jaanta hu ki unhone ye gaadi logon se puch ke banayi aur Honda mein joh features ate hein woh more than enough hein kyuki log Creta aur Seltos mein joh features ate hein itna use bhi nahi karte aur khali fukat price bad jaate hein. Aur ayi baat engine ki toh Creata,Seltos aur even Urban Cruiser aur Grand vitara ki most of the sales petrol mein NA engine ka hie hota hein, toh mere hisabse jyada sense bhi nahi banta turbocharged ya hybrid engine ko lakaar aur gaadi ki price badakar kyuki most of the log iss segment mein lete hie nahi.
Yeh sb thik h Piyush bhai but still ye gaadi is not for performance oriented. Iss engine ki ARAI claimed mileage bhi 15-16KMPL joki kafi kam h competitors see. Iss type ki gaadiya highway pe mileage ke liye banni hoti mostly and ye udhr bhi ek review mein 11 ki de rhi thi. So essentially this engine is only good for sluggish performance at best and barely enough for city driving. I know ki most people go for NA engines in creta, seltos also but still jb VW and Skoda apne base se aapko turbo charged engines provide kr rhe and you also know ki turbo kick in kaisa hota toh koi bhi turbo chalayega most likely ussi pe jayega. Main features ko leke itna keen nai hu that's why I'm not going for Seltos and Creta and that's why going for Kushaq.@@piyushquicker4330
Honda's hopes are highly on this product and it might have delivered at last. Honda at the end of day focuses on quality and it's a driver's car with good aft Sale service. Best luck honda. Hope Customer getting value for their hard earned money ❤
The honda elevate is the best...reliable, powerful, the most comfortable car in the segment and good looking and a lot of features and Secind row....its simply the best!❤
It’s unfair to expect it to be cheaper than Creta. Base model Creta offers nothing but bare bones, while base model City is such VFM, I’m sure it will be the same with Elevate. I’m all down for Elevate.
I appreciate you spending time to make viewers understand the USP of this quality SUV. It's the price with no nonsense features. Honda has offered everything that is essential for comfort, convience and safety. This is a game changer especially in the Automatic segment. Nice work.
@@orange7536 While I haven’t driven the car yet, my views are based on numerous reviews and videos. They highlight Honda’s efforts to provide quality, essential features at a reasonable price. I look forward to a personal test drive to confirm these observations. Until then, my opinion is primarily influenced by Honda’s reputation and available resources.
@@orange7536 best car in terma of design. m honda fan yesterday went for tesr drive this car. highway par best hai but hill climb aata hai to thoda power less hai voh samaj aata hai if car mea 3-4 log hai to. it need turbo petrol with atleast 150 hp engine whc honda can easily provide but they didn't.
@@soumavanag5025 my cousins are telling me that cabin space feels less on Nexon, specially after facelift when the price will likely reach 17-18 for top vars
@@warmfishsalad Germans never has the best steering feedback. You're wrong in this. You've to try a honda. How precise their steering are and how well weighted.
I’m expecting pricing should be below than city, if Honda wanna to survive in the market then 9.90- for SV, 11.0 for V to survive in market otherwise Creta n seltos from 10.8 started
Thank you Rachit bhai , best review, I am waiting for nexon face lift, Honda elevate and am confused which one to go for..your review covered it quite well.
This is HR-V modified for Indian markets. They will sell it in countries where you can’t find HR-V! Why are we still talking about HR-V, India’s not getting it. It’s the same segment car! Expect Honda to launch Elevate EV, more SUVs like a Micro-SUV or a Sub-compact SUV that can take on Venue/Sonet/Brezza or Exter/Punch ! Or maybe who knows that some day they re-launch CR-V in India? 🤷🏻♂️
Those who really know cars ..will definitely go for this brilliant piece of engineering otherwise creta and seltos are selling like vegetables...I have a creta but i wish i have elevate
Sir which car is most affordable to buy main point we are looking is comfort, average, after sales, free mind to drive.... which one is good to buy among this creta, elevate, vitara, seltos ,skoda
5 star rated from TATA is available like NEXON or Harrier ❤ with more features and build quality and less pricy poven cars in the market so honda should think about it😊 otherwise it can not be sustain in the indian market😢
i was really waiting for this car to launch but it misses so many good to have features. they could have provided in higher variants. bit disappointed by Honda for this mediocre release.
bahut poor mileage hai. kya fayda agar initial buying cost kam bhi ho. petrol daalne ke baad sabse mahengi yehi rahegi after 2-3 years of driving. NOT BUYING it
Honda Elevate lack on some of features offered by seltos , creta, but others lack on the best petrol aspirated, fuel efficient and long term durable engine... ENGINE is the main benchmark for HONDA cars
All depends on price set by Honda…Honda has excellent engineers….But Honda has completely failed to understand Indian market….. What I have seen over the decades is that Honda brings out a subset of vehicles that is made for Thai market….. This is utterly ridiculous….. It doesn’t take a top notch Business School graduate to understand the folly in the strategy…. Indian market is very unique….Look at Tata , how they single handedly made people realise the need of safer vehicles & thereby created a substantial market for themselves…. Look at Mahindra how they are coming up with exceptional safe & good products… Now look at Honda…. They are yet to produce a hatchback meant for India…. They kept on selling Jazz in Indian market with an underpowered engine…. They launched Brio here which was uglier than a mule & with tons of impracticality…….They launched WRV here, which is nothing but Jazz with some plastic cladding & overwhelmingly underpowered ….They brought two half cooked vehicles named Mobilo & BRV here which were meant for what only Honda knows 😢….They kept on selling City which suffered for low ground clearance given Indian conditions…. They don’t have a sub-4-meter crossover in their portfolio…. They didn’t bring latest HRV in India!!! Atlast they’ve come up with something which looks promising-Elevate. But & a big but, if they don’t undercut big boys of this segment Kia & Hyundai it will also fail to garner market share & Honda will be history in India…. In that scenario they have only themselves to blame….
145Nm@4300rpm peak torque 🤣.. It is clearly competing with Maruti Fonx & Brezza!.. Im waiting for the new Nexon with 225Nm !! Will be a bomb against these lazy dumb engines!
Honda Also Coming with Nexon Rival. They use Foam Coting over Metal to Reduce Cabin Noise. 5* Safety, Reliable i-vtec one of d world Best Sailence Engine. Go for Seltos, Creta 2* in 22 Lac
You guys don't deliberate what adas features it offers.... simply nothing, lane assist @73 kms, lane change warning 73 kms, adaptive cruise control at 25 kmph but hw it functions, at least the Honda team selling the car doesn't know. It would be better if guys details on these features (5 adas feature)
All people on youtube recommending Honda Elevate seems to be paid promotion. Are lakhs of people spending their hard earned money blindly on Creta, Seltos or Vitara ? Let product Elevate come to ground and Janta janardhan will give verdict Not RU-vidrs..... lets wait .
Honda is sophisticated, no nonsense, simple, safe car and many notches above Kia and Kreta the “Korean Kraps”. The KK’s “gold plated” faltu features are no match in Safety, Performance, Simplicity, Driving Pleasure to the Honda.
Smart move? I think it is another flop product in the making, for the Indian market…. I was waiting desperately for honda’s new launch and then it comes up with this …. Disappointed….. honda never learns…… maybe they dont view India as a critical market…. And i dont know why…. Annual car sales are super high and moving towards higher segments…… up your game Honda
Actually i saw my ex's insta story today , she and her husband bought this car today. she made a right choice (leaving me ofcourse), i can never be able buy this kind of expensive car, may god give her alot.
