This review was very useful to me. I cringe at the thought of ants around the battery creating havoc around the electronics. The other issue that you highlighted is that the clutch requires the oil to be checked and topped up periodically, likewise with the mechatronic unit. Why didn't Honda place both reservoirs in a place where the customer can see them without removal of the air filter housing? I prefer to work on cars myself as I do not want to pay the dealership.

@@joseramonherreramendoza9260 I assure you it isn't ...I have owned both a GP5 AND GP2 Fit at the same time...the GP5 has EV mode..GP2 IMA does not...the GP5 can be switch on and you can drive off in EV mode..the GP2 IMA cannot...it is NOT the same

Is there any major steps to disconnect the batteries? It would be helpful if you could send me the steps or if you have a chance to do a Honda GP5 battery clean video, we can’t find any good video on GP5 where there is enough information on the full process to clean the battery completely. Can i cut the whole white plastic infront of the fan so i can remove the fan without dismantling the battery? I can put it back using silicon. Should i do it?

So i wanna do a hybrid battery fan service myself. All electricians and mechanics i know, dont want to service the fan because they have to remove complete battery. Can i make 3 - 4 holes in the white plastic around the fan to remove th bolts which are holding the fan. That way i can service without removing whole HV battery assembly What do u say?

I have a 2015 Honda fit. Got a lot of issues it don’t drive In reverse only goes slow in first gear. Plenty of other lights on dash.some times starts other times nothing. Could the hybrid battery be causing this.

That seemed odd... To my knowledge it's a standard combustion 1.5L engine simply using the atkinson cycle. Hybrid power is only involved with the transmission which is dual clutch.
i find honda hybrid battery to give less of the problems compare to Nissan and Toyota, Toyota is the worst at the moment, there have been in the game so long yet there still having more problems than honda
