I had same exact thing happen to mine. I figured it out. It was the chain tensioner. Somehow it got stuck in closed position and I unlocked it. And it depressed. The guy I got it from. Had work done on it. I drove it maybe 4 times then it acted up and died and wouldn't crank back up. But got it in time and fixed the tensioner and retired the carb and it ru s like a champ. Hope this helps.
Anyone know where the wires are for the fan. and how to wire them to a switch for the fan for the oil cooler. I’ve hade my 02 450 foreman for 2 years and dow’t think I’ve ever heard my fan turn on 😬
As long as you keep it running, air flow will hit the oil cooler therefore it won't need to activate the fans, i have a foreman 450 and a rincon 650 and the fans wont come on till maybe 40-50mins of hard driving
jump 12 volts to the fan wires to see if it works. if it works change your temp sensor its at the bottom rear of engine i think (mine is a 500). you can also pull the wire off the sensor and ground it to the frame with a switch inline. i would suggest changing the sensor though.
Well described; however, I would prefer to actually view the repair being made in its entirety. Telling me how to do it and then “bring you back when it’s done” is not nearly as effective as seeing it being done. Otherwise good video.
