Hi well all we can do is try, I’ve cleaned them before then again the ultra sonic clean and still no good. I do think sometimes the problem lays behind the welch plugs. If all fails I fit a cheap copy and in the main they are ok. But a clean 9 out of 10 times does the job. Thanks for watching🙂👍

Hi the reason I don’t clean that is because of that aluminium cap. Actually I never thought about heating it up (I might try that) but I always think it’s worth trying to clean with out doing that less hassle, also if the carb isn’t to dirty the carb cleaner should flush it out. But I do have a feeling when I have issues after cleaning there could be issues under the cap. I have loads of spare carbs so I usually get another one if the carb proves to be no good. But I am going to investigate what is under that cap. Hope this helps thanks for watching 🙂👍

@@menditman2004 When I removed mine it was a very sick little carb. Looked like someone made candy inside if it. Followed this video step by step. After reinstalling the mower started in the first pull. Thanks again!
