HONDA GOLDWING GL1200 INSANE SOUND EXHAUST 

After rebuilding my gl1200's engine, used this to make sure that she sounded right, thanks big boss!

Harley road king mufflers got some on my gl1000 they do sound great

When I got my 1200 it had big ol' straight pipes and similar sound. My gearhead neighbors came over to check it out. I picked up a pair of stock HD cans & went back to so quiet I can hear the cows fart as I streak by. Also torque range widened considerably w added back pressure. Ride safe.

What shade of Orange is that color? It would look great on my GW, makes it look a more modern bike. The low windscreen also adds to the great look.

What modifications had to be done to the carb? Just had to be adjusted for straight pipe air flow? Sound awesome

The gl1200 is supposed to idle at 1000 rpm when warmed up, that thing sounds like it's about to stall.

I had an 82 GL1100 with Jardene pipes on it. Sounded a lot like that.. very different sound for a Honda GW

Hey buddy.....nice sounding wing....with.... kind of overhaul did u do on the carbs...jetting size mods etc...got an 83 gl 1100...getting ready to do the exhaust gaskets and gonna pull the exhaust off ...this has me tempted to do that...cheers

I put moto gp cans on my wing and it’s much louder then your open pipes. I find that odd.

Pretty good - but not quite as good as that Moto Guzzi LeMans with the LaFranconi pipes.

I think your idle is too low. Wonderful bike, man. She sounds do good for the age. Good job.
