It was noted that tire pressure, temperature, and humidity can make all the difference on a dyno.

For the guy concerned the harm resulting from going from idle to wide open on the Dino, Dino tests don’t start from idle. Dino tests start around 3500 rpms.

My 2006 made 95 HP on a Dyno and the Curve was super smooth. I have Torq Master Double Barrel Shotgun Slip Ons on it. I'd really like to go to a Dyno to get Torque numbers cause theirs didn't measure Torque.

Well, hell, I'll ride the crap out of my Wing and it will only last 300K. instead of 400K. I can live with that. It will still last longer than three Harleys.

Yea,, It got like 94hp. Just hated to delete it from my iphone and loose it. quietest bike on the dyno that day.

I WOULD "NEVER" SUBJECT MY ENGINE TO BEING "WACKED" OPEN FROM DEAD IDLE TO FULL THROTTLE LIKE THAT.. REMIND ME NOT TO BUY YOUR USED BIKE.. YOU JUST TOOK 10 TO 20K OFF THE LIFE OF THAT ENGINE WITH WHAT YOU DID.. :-)

Seriously? If the engine was that fragile you'd never even get to ride. That is a standard dyno run that happens thousands of times a day (maybe millions around the world) to all kinds of vehicles. GET A CLUE BEFORE HAMMERING SOMEONE FOR DOING SOMETHING INNOCUOUS.

Crap!! The only way you're in any way likely to damage a modern engine by snapping the throttle wide open is if the engine is not loaded. ie. in neutral.
