Hello Everyone! It has been a while since last upload.
This is a part of the fuel system section of the project. I repaired the gas tank so no it is time to work on the carburetors.
In this video I remove the carburetor assembly for cleaning and rebuild. It can be a little bit of a pain but not too bad. Removing the carburetor assembly from the Honda Valkyrie is much more of a pain!
I hope this helps with your bike project!

In the case of GL1000 it is nor necessary to remove the intake boots, just rotate them, you neither need to remove the vaccum covers, but it is easier to remover the carbs if you remove the small vaccumm valve. just some tips from my experience, thanks for sharing this video

I did try with the vacuum covers on but it was just too tight for comfort. Rotating the right side intake boots may have worked but removing them just made it easier. There may be more space available on the GL1000. Thanks for the info and please keep the tips coming! I’m glad you enjoyed the video!

Excellent video. I need to replace the fuel line from the fuel pump to the carb assembly. It looks like the same hose you left connected. Is it possible to remove that hose without removing the carbs?

Yes, there probably is a difference because of the year and the size. As I replied above, I did try what you said. Thanks again!
