Hi guys, in this video I am lubricating the front sprocket of the CB 350 after removing the sprocket cover. Hope it helps viewers who wanted to know the process. Thank you. #hondacb350 #diy #bikemaintenance
@DipayanBose thank you so much to cover maintenance part of CB350 in your video, particularly of front sprocket. Very articulated and precisely explained! Thanks again for giving us a reference on how to take care of our own bike.
I have done experiments with sprockets previously in my earlier bike, however didn’t like it. May be if any aftermarket sprockets come out for CB, will definitely try it out, I like doing the rear one though. Thanks Bro.
@@DipayanBose would be much much interesting since we have gem of a engine here. Only if gearing is sorted for higher top speed, yeah Mileage could take a hit but long gearing should become less of a hassle with torque curve.. Drive sprocket reduction would be interesting first step.., Anyways curious for your upcoming episodes 🙌✨
What is the use in lubricating the counter shaft where the front sprocket is placed? Because the shaft's design and purpose is to prevent slipping of the front sprocket.
Hello Dipayan, there is a video about after washing polishing the bike with different wavex products and brush, there is a links of products in description please share that video, i have been searching for a long while can't find please share it in coment
Hi Dipayan, I am facing issue after third service. Issue is feeling vibration on left hand side foot peg , Visited service centre but they were not able to solve the problem. They have done some chain tightening but that doesn't help much. I can feel vibration on LHS footpeg. Have you felt the same?
Probably the drive chain is over-tight. Take it to any good mechanic and tell him to loosen it a little and don’t forget to align the rear wheel properly when you do so. It should resolve the issue.
Hello Sir Did my second service at Honda and they tightened the chain which was uncomfortable again visited them and loosened it but still getting a lot of vibration and chain grinding sensation on my left foot peg the Honda people are just unable to solve this problem Can you advise
Readjusting the chain and then properly cleaning lubing it is the only solution. Have it done from a good mechanic. Need not be from Bigwing. Check the tightest position of the chain and adjust the play.
@@rushadlentin7989 if you are checking from the tightest portion, then keep the slack at 15 to 20. Or else the loosen portion will become more loose. This is a trial and error basis job basically. Mostly all drive chains gather up and down slack with time. That’s their nature.
Hi Bose did you complaint against Honda due to lack if chain cover because lack of chain cover dust and mud will trap in chain it will enter inner sprocket. It may cause rust when the bike will be on idle condition
I can understand your concern Sir, however that’s the way the O ring sealed chains are nowadays in most bikes without chain cover. Cleaning and lubing them from time to time is the only solution we have.
Today i have done my 2nd service at 5600 km, i suggested them to open front sproket and clean them, after all done a extra noise is coming from front sprocket which is really annoying, i have never faced such annoying sound, how to solve this?
@@DipayanBose actually after service test ride I didn't notice , even after 5km I didn't noticed, but after idle time of 5 hrs when I started my ride I noticed the sound, I think they don't lubricate the front sprocket. I have to visit service centre again
@@ABISHEKPODDER-l4w first lube it with gear oil or engine oil (fresh) little bit from top of the front sprocket cover where chain is exposed. While doing so rotate the wheel with hand ( DO NOT START ENGINE ) keep it for 10 mins and ride and check. If issue persists then pls take it to SVC and complain about it.
Hi I am having a little tuk tuk sound from thre front chain Sproket i guess, when i move it back or forward by foot i can hear it, once it takes a speed then it disappears.. It's coming only when i am moving it by foot, i even cleaned the front sproket as well on that time it disappeared but now it's coming again after riding it a couple of kMs.. Could you please suggest me Something
Hi, seems that the drive chain is too tight. Pls have it inspected and readjusted to proper specification. And lube the chain. Also check if all the links are moving freely.
Hello Would like to know if the 2023 Hness lineup still has Blue & white dual tone and Mono Seat option. Or has it been discontinued...?? I don't like the split seats & prefer the mono seat..
When I was bought my cb 350 That time I insisted only mono seat. But you gonna ask your honda company may be get money from you for mono seat I weckon sir 😢
No, not a direct swap. However I think with a little bit of more modification it is possible. You also need to replace the foot peg holder which would also result in change in the position of the pegs. I am not sure though.
@@DipayanBose foot peg I do know Rs is rear set . But considering RS has half size gear lever and am wondering if it’s swappable. Also Hness lever is too long ( my feeling ), some swapped it with levers from other bikes. But thought why not RS lever itself but at same foot peg position.
