There r some patches were the road is straight, the speed of the bike 80 to 90 kmph feels slow

You are right Sir !! Speed of bike looks slow even at the speed of 80-90. The reason behind it is the wide size of the Highways. When we ride on the narrow roads, we feel that roadside trees and the objects are going backward at high speed being closer to us and this creates a perception in our mind that we are riding at high speed. Whereas, at the same speed, the highway side trees and objects appear to be going backward at low speed being at some distance. And hence, we don't feel the speed. Many friends of mine do ask me at what speed I ride the Highness ! When I say at 80-90 kmph, they react with dropped jaws and ask me how I call this as a normal speed? The answer is as explained above, Sir.

Only 32 ?? And that too from Pune to Mumbai ?? Wo bhi w/o pillion aur udhar se to dhalan bhi hai. It's shocking for me Bro.. Seriously you need to improve your riding style. Bhai Ji, 70-80 ke speed me 5th gear me hi chalata hu. Aur apko bata deta hu, ki agar raod samtal hai, to Honda Highness 60 kmph ke speed 5th gear me bohot hi maje se chalti hai. Jara sa slope mile to mai use 55 ke speed par bhi achhe se chalata hu.

Bhai ji, Sabse pehla apko Mera Jai Shree Ram. Aap Ayodhya se hai, muje behad khushi ho rahi hai apke sawal ko reply kare huye. Aapke pass classic hai aur aap CB 350 Lena chahate hai. Mai apko batana chahta hu ki cb350 ke do version hai. Ek hai highness cb350 aur dusari hai sirf CB350. Dono me CB350 ka wajan 6-7 kg jyada hai highness se. Baki CB350 me bade fenders yani bade mudguards lagaye hai, tank shape me mamuli sa fark hai, fork covers hai aur instrument cluster ka look change hai. Main Jo baat hai wo hai bike ka engine Jo dono ka ek hi hai. Rahi gears ki baat, to long stroke engine hone ki wajah se isme TVS 200 ki tarah fatafat gear dal nahi sakte, thoda speed lekar harek gear dalna padta hai Jo swabhavik hai. Classic me bhi waise hi gear hai, wo bhi 5th gear me 60 ke niche nahi chalti. Maine classic 1000 km chalai hai. Classic aur highness me Jo major fark hai, wo hai highness ka superb handling. Apko lagta hi nahi ki ye 181 kg ka bike hai. Vibration na ke barabar hai. Pick up jabardast hai. aur aap 70-80 chalte ho highway par, to ye apko 44 ka mileage jarur degi. Maine 46 ka liya hai. Lekin mai apko ashwasth karna chahunga ki Honda jaisi build quality kisi bike me nahi hai. Meri age 58 hai. 7-8 Bikes chala chuka hu. Naye jamne ki ]bikes me mujhe Honda ki build quality sabse acche lagi, akhir Japanese logo ne banai hai. Maine Jab kharidi to yehi sochkar kharidi ki isko mere baad ke 2 generations chala paye. Agar sahi maintain ki to 20 kya, 40 saal bhi chalegi. Har bike ki khubiya aur khamiya hoti hai, isme bhi hai. Ye air cool engine hone ki wajah se heavy traffic me heat hoti, par Highway par koi dikkat nahi. City me mota jeans pant aur ju]te lakar hi chalna hota hai. Mere Bhanje ke pass classic 2019 ki hai. Maine use 1000 km chalaya, mujhe jara bhi maja nahi aya. Lekin usne jab meri bike chalai to wo bola, Mama, tumme jabardasrt bike kharidi hai. Jo baat Highness me hai, uska koi jawab nahi. Traffic ka heating issue chhoda to Bike Number 1 hai. Iska Exhaust sound bohot hi acchha hai, kisi bhi speed par. 80 ke speed par to music ki tarah sunai deta hai helmet ke under. Exhaust change mat karna. Mai ab tak 8000 km chala chuka hu. 300 Km to mai ise non stop chalata hu, har bar. Kyoki mai Mumbai me aur mere kheti Malegaon me hai jo 280 km padta hai. Shinde Saheb, Cb230 highness madhey mala tar aata paryant wobbling issue disla nahi. Majhi bike 8000 km chalavli ahe. 3-4 divasapurvi mi ek video post kela ahe, tyache nav ahe "Why Motorcycles Wobble?" Tyat mi shevti handle sodun 80 chya speed var test karun dakhavli ahe, to video tumhi jarur bagha. Pahili gosht ashi ahe ki handle sodun bike koni chalavat nahi. Ani wobbling issue ha general nasun kahi bikes madhey ahe, tyache Karan kharab bearings ani Tyre defect asu shakto. Mi July 2024 madhey highness ghetli, tevha pan mi wobbling test Keli hoti Ani ata pan Keli, mala wobbling ajibat disali nahi. Tumhi bindas ghya. 350cc madhey Highness ek jabardast bike ahe. Mi classic 1000 km chalavli ahe, Highness pratyek goahtis superior ahe. Bindass ghya.

Bhai ji, Highness ki paid service ko lagbhag Rs 4000 se 4200 ke aas pass bill hota hai. Honda ka engine jabardast hai. Bilkul makkhan ki tarah chalta hai. Meri Highness 9000 km chali hai. Abhi 3rd service anewali hai. Lekin bike me abhitak koi bhi dikkat nahi hai.

There are two things to be taken care of to get maximum mileage in city. First you need to learn the ideal gear shifting method of Honda Highness CB350. And second thing is your riding style, means whether you are a gentleman rider or a rough rider. If you handle the bike with gentle acceleration in right gear, you can expect 38 kmpl in city. If riding in racing style, then 34-35 is also difficult. Choice is yours.

35 to 36 inside city. 40 to 42 in highway And yes it defntly depends on rider All about how well you knw you bike and the condition afvourse. If you are plannig just go for it. You will never regrt. Very reliable yet premium❤

Bhai, city me bhi apko accha mileage mil sakta hai. Mere channel par ek video hai, "Ideal Gear Shifting Method" nam se. Apko jab bhi wakt mile, ek baar jarur dekhna. Usme maine Bataya hai ki Highnes ko kis gear me kitna speed par chalana hai. Agar aap usi tarah chalayenge to mujhe pura bharosa hai ki city me bhi apko 35 se 38 tak mileage jarur milega.

Kavish ji, I would have done the mileage test at 100 kmph. But I had decided to limit it between 70 to 80 kmph speed, as most of us ride the motorcycle within this range and few other reasons. First it's very difficult to maintain 100 speed through out the test. Second, the rider will have to face the heavy wind resistance. Third legal reason is that riding above 80 kmph is not allowed on NH3. There are police vans guarding the highway at many spots with speed gun keeping watch on over speeding vehicles. Over speeding would certainly attract the online ticket.

Highness has also logo of cb350. Infact the Highness is the original CB350. It was introduced as CB350 in Janan and Europe also. I have seen videos of European RU-vidrs calling it as CB350. Both bikes have almost same engine. Due to big fenders, CB has 6 kg more weight. Rest is cosmetic changes, No significance in mileage.

You are right Madhu Ji. But since I ride in city traffic regut and has to apply clutch & front brake more often, I do rest my fingers like this. It helps me in applying brakes instantly and so the gear shift. I just rest it on lever, without any pressure. Anyways, thanks for your concern, Madhu Ji.
