Nice Hornet! Looks like you don't ride this one a lot, my Hornet is about to approach 80000 miles and still running sharp. Great bike it is and they are still very cheap and super reliable...
Looking for a bike with similar look but I’m wondering if there’s some model that despite being a sportsbike doesn’t have too high revs (7-8000) while let’s say riding 60 mph/100 kph on a motorway. I understand that they are meant to be highrevving but still. Any ideas?
Insane seat as whole motorbike! I'm riding similar bike, also 919. But... Passenger has smell on clothes after riding. Is your bike gives same issue or maybe had it with stock exhaust?
Hope you guys get to see this. I also own a 919 '07 example with 65k miles. Your problem is undertail exhaust. The 919 uses an open loop efi system. The preloaded map is set rich. I personally ride alone and myself smell of exhuast after my 43 minute daily commute. The only way to fix it is with a CBR900RR header and side exit exhaust. "Google search" honda 919 exhaust upgrade. Hope this helps.
@nickman0303 Thank you! Maybe I will keep it as it is. Dealing with water pump at the moment :D That damn thing started to whistle when engine is hot. So, pump was disassembled and shaft, seals has been replaced. Will see how it goes :D
