Just received my kit today, installed and already used! It works great! Two comments: 1). During the final steps when mounting the actual roller assembly to the L brackets the bolt heads were too large to get through the holes and into the threads in the roller assy’s slot. Had to remove both side’s L bracket bottom hardware, feed the threads trough the flange facing the roller assy then reattached the lower bolt, nut and lock washer. 2). Your “needed tools” shows (1) 3/4” wrench. At a couple stages 2 3/4” wrenches were needed. You might pass along that in case a customer only has 1 3/4” wrench he can also use a 19mm! One of the few sizes that so nearly duplicates they are interchangeable if needed. Thanks guys! Great product and appreciate the great printed instructions and very helpful RU-vid video!
Good video, thank you. FYI, I have a Honda HRX purchased in 2017. There is no plastic 'shelf' to gauge where to drill. So, I approximated; it seemed to come out okay. Thanks again for the video.
Thanks for the video. I'm converting mine from a Honda hrr to a Honda hrx and bought the hardware kit from your website. I'll let you know how it goes.
Keith, if you could please contact us at sales@bigleaguelawns.com we can determine what hardware was sent. Additionally, if it's within the return policy time period, we can help you return the unit if it's something you are not interested in. Thank you.
So I just installed my kit. The final part I checked to make sure the rollers go up and down freely. However when I raise the deck the rollers don’t raise. They stay on the ground. What did I do wrong?
In the video the last thing g he says is to check that the rollers move up n down freely. Also as u raise the deck off the ground to make turns the rollers should raise.
@@jeremyyates1638 no, the rollers stay on the ground but freely pivot as you push the front of the deck up so that you can still turn your mower. The roller should never leave the ground, hence the pivoting "free floating setup"
I can line up the washer on the one side as shown at 3:15, the other side of my mower does not have the same plastic lines. Do you line up the washer the same or did you measure for hole placement?
I came across this myself. I actually found their hrn model install video and those had the same plastic lines as what i have on my hrx so i just ran with that.
Hi Marshall, good question. We have never had any sort of structural or warranty issues with Hondas. There are a few models of Honda mowers that we do not support for those very reasons. The Honda Harmony models are built using cast aluminum that becomes brittle and structurally weakened when drilled, we do not make stripers for those specific models.
Hi Atif, We unfortunately do not currently have any suppliers in Australia. However we can and do ship to Australia. However, shipping is a bit pricier.
This one technically will, as the HRX and HRN installs are identical. We do however have a specific product page for our HRN Striper, linked here: www.bigleaguelawns.com/checkmatetrade-for-hondareg-hrn-series.html
Hey fellas. Have owned two different sets of hardware and still have the the original roller ... From before there were spring loaded bolts in that thing.... Anywaysssss I plan on calling you Monday for the kit for this mower.... Question: does the bag still fit and fit well .. I'm a bagger 110%
The mounting and hardware are nearly identical, instructions that come with the kit will explain the difference, here is a link to the striper for Honda HRN: www.bigleaguelawns.com/checkmatetrade-for-hondareg-hrn-series.html
