You can actually remove the factory wire from the harness you just need a special tool and then you can solder into the terminal of the harness wire instead of splicing the wire. It just seems like it would be a better option incase you still have factory warranty lol
If you use the grill covers it will help, mostly it’s not that visible, unless you stare at it from that one side angle. You can flush it more if you can sand the oem grill emblem area. This way, this emblem will go in more you know what I mean.
