Honda MOTOCOMPACTO 🛴 Electric Scooter 

I haven't tried that yet... I played around with the app a little bit but didn't really like the map feature so I didn't spend much time on it.

​@@danondemand I am using a Galaxy A14 and not a Pixel 8, so I was hoping you might have luck. It does take a phone that runs Android 13 or higher, I think. I made a RU-vid video about my experience with the Android app. When I go to Navigation, I can get a nice 2D screen with the route displayed, but then it gets blocked by a popup that only lets me go to 3D navigation. In 3D navigation, you can use the trackball to move around and collect trophies, but I assume that you are supposed to collect the trophies by actually riding the Motocompacto along the route, and that doesn't work. When you get a chance, I would appreciate it if you can try it and see what you see. Thanks, much appreciated.

I just tried it and see the same thing as you. I can draw a path on a 2d map but when I click the checkmark it switches to 3d , almost like game mode. Ill try following the route later to see if it tracks as I ride it.

@@danondemand Dan, Thanks, that pretty much confirms that you see on your Pixel 8 what I see on my Galaxy, and I hear the same from iPhone users. If you quit navigation and move 5 blocks away, and start it up again, you can see that you get a new starting point, so at least the GPS is working. Also, in 3D mode, when you ride the Motocompacto, nothing moves, and nothing happens. However, if you use the trackball in the lower right, you can follow the route, and it looks to be correct, if you have memorized the turns from the 2D map. When you reach your end point, using the trackball, it does say that you reached the destination. In 2D mode, you can always see that there is a trophy to collect about 2/3 of the way to your destination. You can collect it by using the trackball. I am sure that you are really supposed to collect it by riding the Motocompacto through it though. When I call Honda, they say there is no update coming any time soon to the app, so I think we are stuck with what we have. To collect all the trophies, you don't even need to ride the Motocompacto, so that doesn't make any sense. All you do is sit at home and use 3D navigation and the trackball.. the application could be great with just another couple of days of work by the app developers.

I ordered it sometime in mid November. I didn't expect to hear anything for another month or two but got an email out of nowhere saying that it was ready for pickup. Hopefully yours is on the way too 👍👍👍
