I installed the F16's on my 2016 Elantra GT for DRL / Highbeam . There H7's and not easy to install . However they offer great DRL light output and fabulous HighBeam light . I'm running Auxbeam the S4 series for Lowbeam , great light output !!
hi, I have tried on my 2018 mazda 3 and it works perfectly. I also have tried all other products from auxbeam but just only this product actually works on my car
I'm not sure why but installing these is really cumbersome!! There is no problem installing the low beam bulbs. But the two high beam/drl is difficult. I can't make the three groves match the socket and the right side bulb location behind the power steering reservoir makes it worst!
Fyi. The collar on the bulb needs to be adjusted. The chips should be facing 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock so you're not blinding others and retain cutoff line
If I buy ones on Amazon that are CANBUS ready, I shouldn't have a problem right? Since it does say it will most likely not give an error code unlike non CANBUS LEDs

Is the constant currant canbus driver replaceable mine is shorted out its poping my fuse immediately as soon as i turn it on even with the bulb removed
Thanks for the review, just kicking myself for buying the DRL leds mentioned a few months ago but haven't installed yet. Also your link to the auxbeam site does not include the drivers, although there is a listing on Amazon that does include for almost the same price.
dial2fast ok I'm just confused because the auxbeam site lists an optional driver add on. Also are there any issues using these in the reflector housing versus a projector one?
David Mathews it comes with a driver. What you might have seen was their "error free" box that can connect as well in case your dash pops with errors. Put three sets of F16s on and they all come with the LED and driver as one unit.
Ive used some cheaper ebay decoder cable kit. Worked good for few days then the drl dash notification light came on flickering then stopped everything was ok, then again it flickered on/off/on/off etc. 1 week later left drl bulb topped working and few days later both stopped working. no power in inlet, tried oe bulb nothing, fuse is good. Is there a module somewhere that blew? 2011 acura rdx, checked behind glove box nothing. Where could it be located?

these bulbs appear to be exactly what I am looking for....can you answer a few question....? 1. Does the internal cooling fan make a lot of noise.....? 2. have you noticed any "Flickering" in either DRL *or* high beam mode...? 3. Is there a temperature rating....ie....5000K, 6000K....? Hey, thanks for getting back to me...I watched this again, and when you were showing the Auxbeams against your garage wall....I noticed some flickering....(both sides, but mostly when the Passenger side was shining on your tool box....did you notice that as you were standing there...or perhaps it only shows in the video...? Perhaps there is an additional relay you can purchase to make the flickering go away? ALSO, how long have you had the Auxbeams installed....I'm wondering if the by using this configuration.....it might shorten the life expectancy of the bulbs...? ALSO, I asked a couple questions on the Auxbeam web site....and gave them my year, make and model... (2008 Honda Accord Coupe)...and told them That I wanted to use their F16 as a DRL....I got a response from some woman...who I don't think knew what I was talking about...but instead of "making a sale"....she told me to only use this bulb as a Highbeam....I'm thinking to myself...."it's the same bulb"...so she was no help......I think I found them best price....for 50 bucks on Amazon....thanks for your time...I appreciate it.
Hi great video help a lot :) i replaced mine as the hi snd low beam on my honda odyssey 2008 all works fine but DRL wont lit only hi beam i have the cambus no errors on my led i notice during instalation driver side completed LED lit omly when passager side still having old halogen also drl warning on my dash but when intalled led cn borh side no more drl message on my dash but nothing lit in drl mode hi beam works ? I thought relay or something with fuse all fine so re-installed old halogen and drl working fine why ??? Also Bought resistor kit but still the same result do you have an idea ? Thank you
From what I’ve read and seen from other people you’re supposed to aligned the led bulb in a 9-5 position once inside the headlight.. looked like you had it different in both your headlights
Hi, I got both 9005 and 9006 to replace all four bulbs. Low beams where easy to replace but I tried for more than 2 hours to install the 9005 DLR and I couldn’t do it, what is the trick? I had to reinstall the old ones back, I have a 2009 Odyssey. Please help!! Thanks for your video!!
Actually I figured it out by watching another video for the same bulb type, the problem was the o-ring. The one that comes with the bulb is too thick, you need to use the one from the halogen bulbs.
Great video. I got this item for 2016 Odyssey and it worked for the most part as you said. However, when the headlights are on and the DRL turns off, I see a dimmish flicker in the high beams. Did you get this too?
@dail2fast hello mr i see u understand a lot about LED lights i have that problem whre my passenger bulb is not working, i tryed switching the bulbs but after the switch still the passenger side bulb is not working do u have any idea why could it be. thank you am runing vauxhall astra H
If the light is not working, you need to find out 1) if there is voltage on the plug side, you need a multimeter to test for 12V on the positive and negative wires, 2) if there is no voltage, then you have to trace back the wire to find out if there is a cut or short in the wire, 3) if there is 12V, then check the physical connector to make sure the metal contacts have connectivity to the contacts on the bulb. You will have to isolate which part of the circuit it's not working.
I noticed in your video the drl lights are on and you're demonstrating the low and high beam funtions of the 9005 led bulb. thats great but why didnt you show in your video the drl's turning off, like they are suppose to, when the regular headlights (H11) are on? is that because they dont? when the H11's (headlights-low beam) are turned on (at night) the 9005(drl) are supposed to turn off automatically. Correct?
how do you get the running lights out? This is the only part that is giving me trouble. I cant reach my hand, Im wondering if there is a good way to reach in there!

Thank you for the video Bro. I have a question for you. Why there are some LED lights that looks clearer than others? For example, I seen some light that are crystal clear, you could see through the inside of the headlight. That Light that you are showing us is white but you can't see through the headlight. I hope you understand what I mean.
That clarity is simply due to the age of the headlight lens cover. If the lens cover is oxidized and scratched or dirty, then it will look opague. My van is a 2008 and definitely has a haze on it. Will soon be reconditioning them for better clarity.
The LED is brighter than the regular halogen, but during the day, I never had anyone flick the high beam on me. You do need to check your headlight alignment after installing this to make sure the beam pattern is aimed correctly.
The adjustment I am referring to is the headlight alignment on the factory headlight housing. Search youtube and there are tutorials on how to aim the headlight.
Those are flickering. I haven't seen any 9005 high/low that does not flicker. installing an anti-flicker adapter will solve the problem, but eventually the DRL will become as bright as the high beam, which is a deal breaker for me.
