@@jamescarey7277 Located in Plattekill,NY, in the Hudson Valley(USA). Never rode a motorcycle until I was 30. Had quite a few but never liked them. My father-in-law was a Vespa rider in Italy after WW2 so I tried scooters with my KYMCO, now I finally like my bike, who would have thought? Even with two bum hips I get out now. Love your videos!

Since I was small I have loved the idea of a scooter, but never had one for one for one reason or another. I guess it’s too late to look back and wish, but I’m glad I realized the dream, no matter how late in life. Always wanted a vespa, but they are expensive. James Carey I live in the UP of Michigan (the shores of lake superior) I've ridden my reflex out of the Northland in "weather windows" of mid-30s with lots of gear on. I can make it to the next climate zone in one day (roughly iowa) then Missouri and decent winter temps from there. I average 60 mpg loaded up. I sleep in the trees or abandoned houses and barns. I love scooter travelling. Taking all back roads and seeing parts of America no one goes to anymore. I doubt o will ever buy another motorcycle again. Big scooters get the job done just fine. Thanks for helping me feel less "strange" out here in the 2 wheeled world. :)

Tried a sleeping cot once and didn't work for me, maybe a more modern design would be good, who makes it? It's my old bones that need softness now, so in a tent I use a thick blow up mattress, but it's too heavy and bulky for the scooter.

Thanks James. I started riding a year ago and have had a little red Suzuki GN125 which I’m selling. I now have a big Kawasaki GT750, but I’m most excited about the 2015 Suzuki Address 110 I got last week. I haven’t made any videos yet, but if I do I’ll stop back and leave a link. Have you any camping adventures planned imminently? You have wonderful such countryside for it!

The Suzuki looks like a great bike, never heard of it but checked out pictures online, should be a lot of fun. From a 750 to 110, interesting range, but each bike has its attributes I guess. I can't compare because I've just had the scooters since I started riding two years ago. Have fun with your new bike.

I passed by jasper camp site once because there were too many "beware of bear" signs!!!!Yes, I did a canoe camp and a car camp (videos to come) with my large air mattress, but I think I had a few new (hopefully temporary) aches and pains this year, so even on the mattress my sleep was off.I plan to take a close look at my sleep system for next year, but I still like the hammock and will be working on that to, always adapting and hopefully improving .I'd like to hear more of your bear butt biting experiences in Jasper :)

I have the same problem with my old bones too. I'm 68. Trying to find a light comfortable camping rig is an on going search. I do have a pickup and camper which is comfortable, but for light and cheap, (gas is getting to be a major cost nowadays), I have a couple of tents and an air mattress. I used to chase a lot of bears away from stupid people in Jasper. I've also had many up close and personal encounters with bears. When you can feel the air on your face when a bear swipes at you I call that a little close for comfort. I learned, ' let them have the marsh mellows'. Had a seat chewed of a dirt bike one night while camping in the Gatineaus in Quebec. Cheers, John. Keep posting and I'll keep watching your great videos.

Purchased at the Toronto outdoor show years ago, not sure who made them.

Sorry to be so long in responding. I don’t have a lot of experience with other bikes to compare, but the SH150i has been great and I have no complaints. Would be nice to have a glove box and not to have to lift the seat to refuel, but absolutely no surprises. The bike does exactly what I want.

I cruise at about 90 kph (aprox. 55 mph) out of the city and stay at around the speed limits in the city. 60 miles is one way for me to commute to work and its a nice ride. I usually stop for a coffee on the way but it's not a necessity. I could go for hours on the Honda without stopping, and as this video showed a long trip is more than just possible it's a pleasure!

I'm on a trip now and cruising at 90 kph, all loaded with my camping/traveling gear. Without the gear I can do 110kph, but I have no need and usually stay at 90 because I enjoy the ride and don't need speed. There are faster and slower scooters, depends what you enjoy and if you do a lot of highway/interstate riding. The whole idea, whatever you ride, is that you enjoy it (and can lift the bike up if it falls over!!) Happy riding. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for watching Peter.Improvements are relative to each person and what you are using the bike for, both bikes are good.The differences with the Honda, and better for me for the type of riding I am doing, larger wheels, better top speed, higher and more comfortable seat for long distance , better mirrors.The dash ( speedo and gas gauge etc.) is easier for me to read on the Kymco so that is one thing I miss on the Honda, and I believe there is more storage under the Kymco seat.

Sorry to hear you are having issues with sound Duane.I listened to the video on an Ipad and two different computers and the audio seems fine to me.I wonder if your headphones or speakers are not operating correctly, or some volume setting is off either on RU-vid, computer or headphones.Hope you can correct it, and thanks for trying to watch my videos.

I had no problems & my audio setting was on about 50%.
