Renato owns this KR Motors 'Chat 110' Super Cub look alike. Made in South Korea, this 2017 bike is still relatively new whilst retaining the old school look. What's it like up close? Watch and find out!

Thanks for checking out my little bike! I hope I did a good job introducing it.

Hello, to answer your question about the lights button. All bikes use to have it that way before 2007-8.. 1st stage is rear light + front 'marker' lights, the dashboard gauge lights and the 2nd stage of the button is full front light. It's that way if you want to ride just with the marker lights on, just to be seen. It preserves electric power and bulbs. Nowadays the laws most of the world is all lights on all the time and they turn on automatically.

@Stefan_trekkie very odd, especially since the bike was made in 2017.

@@RideWithRen Well, it's logical to conclude that the cup 110 is very old design and since it is close copy, the old standard gets copied with it. The new super cup 125 from Honda is without the light button. Some of the better motorcycles turn on the lights automatically only if the engine runs but the more basic ones are just on contact.

I have the Honda 110 Supercub that I bought brand new in Thailand last year. I did 4000km in 3 1/2 weeks. It’s a shame I can’t bring it back to NZ, but at least it’s still there for when I go back again in September 😀

That’s awesome! Love the super cub 110’s. Solid machines that get the job done!

@@SmallBikeStuff I love the old school looks. It took me up the steepest roads in Northern Thailand, not fast but no fuss either. The missus will inherit the used one, I’m toying with the idea of buying another one although I do fancy Yamahas PG1 too!

Back in the day, the Honda cub only had 50cc . Nice KR.

It's nice to ride these things when they have a slightly bigger engine like this one does.

I have seen a newly released bike here in Philippines today, Yamaha Pg1. It is a close competitor to the honda ct125 but only 115cc and 16" tires. One color only which is light brown or tan.

Yes the PG-1 is interesting. I know someone in Vietnam that has it. It's only OK off road, not amazing. Good for the city though.

Cool bike, I find it interesting that a Korean company would make a clone and not try to go with an original design.

Classic Cubs are all the rage here. But they always come short on marketing and public engagement. Korean motorcycle manufacturers haven't captured the market like Korean car makers have. Few recreational riders here in South Korea ever ride Korean made bikes.

@@SmallBikeStuff yeah it looks soooo similar and I saw that it costs 1200$+1500$ shipping to AZ. I was wondering if the quality holds up 🤔🤔
