Seems like a great bike, the only thing I don't like that much is the front design which looks like CBX, would prefer more character but still, would like to have one.
Yeh, i agree. I would have preferred a downsized Africa twin as opposed to an upscale 500. Still, I’m also considering buying one - once my GS1200 sells.

Honda XL 750 Transalp - Gearbox click noise - Engine turns off (sometimes) Hi guys. I bought a Transalp 750 a month ago and I think the bike has a problema. I would like to know if anyone has had a similar problem with this bike. This video shows what happens: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-mg8uv-6bf6g.html&ab_channel=CarlosEstrela And here is a description: In a total of 1500 km (2 414 miles) with the motorcycle, when downshifting, I felt a weird clicking noise more than 70 times, and the motorcycle turned off the engine 5 times when this clicking noise occurred. In this video, I'm normally riding slowly at 2500/3000 rpm, but in the last sequence of the video I'm close to 4000 rpm. The weird clicks and the engine turning off also happened when I was riding above 5000 rpm. As time goes by, the clicking noises are happening more frequently and on the last ride of around 100 km, it happened 8 times. Both the clicking noises and the engine turning off could happen at any downshifting. Has anyone ever felt this? Is this normal?
I appreciate we all ride differently and this is the norm in your home country but personally I found it rather unnerving……. That is not a criticism. Here in the UK riding in same way would likely end tragically very quickly. Thanks for the video 👍

What's the problem? In Europe line splitting is the norm - nothing strange here. And statistics are ok - you are judging without any knowledge I dare to say...
this is the first transalp that rides well, and at the same time, the first that does not have its own appearance. such a honda cb500x on steroids, or brother nc750x
Aπο ότι μπορώ να καταλάβω και με την εμπειρία μου απο το testride του hornet απο μοτέρ καμία απολύτως σχέση με το παλιό. Κατα τα άλλα τι να πώ, είσαι η ζωτανή απόδειξη οτι η σιωπή είναι χρυσός!
Ειμαι 1.73 και αισθάνομαι αρκετά ασφαλής πατώντας κατω και μετα δυο πόδια με το μέσω του πέλματος και μπροστά. Εμπνέει εμπιστοσύνη και καθολου top heavy. Τα tenere δεν είναι για εμάς.. αστα αδερφε...
Just 19/17 tubeless next year and this bike would be perfect, otherwise staying with CB500X! And looks are not so great, compared to beautiful green/black CB500X...
Πολύ ωραίο το βίντεο μα θα πρότεινα να "κρύβεις" τυχόν πινακίδες άλλων αυτοκινήτων λόγω νομικών θεμάτων που μπορεί να προκύψουν λόγω του νόμου προστασίας προσωπικών δεδομένων... ;)
Οπτικά το νέο Transalp λοιπόν δε δείχνει να έχει δική του σχεδιαστική ταυτότητα, νομίζεις πως μοιάζει σαν ένα μεγάλο CB750Χ. Δλδ χίλιες φορές να το βαπτίζανε CB750X και να επανασχεδιάσουν μιαν άλλη μηχανή ως το νέο Transalp. Το οποίο να έχει ψηλά την εξάτμιση, ρυθμιζόμενο ανεμοθραύστη, DCT έκδοση, μεγαλύτερο πίνακα οργάνων, άλλη σχεδίαση στο φανάρι (τούτο έχει φτυστά φώτα σαν το CB500X), αλλά και στα πλάγια δίπλα στο ντεπόζιτο. Τέλος πάντων σχεδιαστικές πινελιές που να ξέφευγαν απ' το να μοιάζει σαν το μεγάλο αδερφάκι του CB
This gem of an engine deserved a far far prettier body (both in Transalp and Hornet implementations). It is probably the most stimulating Honda product during the last decades, only to be stuck in another unexciting, boring and uninspiring design (truthful to Honda tradition). Such a shame! They could easy sell double the number of bikes.

Καταπληκτικό video φίλε μου, τοσο ενδιαφέρον που είδα καθε χιλιομετρο της διαδρομης με προσοχη. Φαινεται να ειναι πιο γρηγορη και απο το μεγαλο αδερφακι του το Africa! Είναι όμως πιο γρήγορο?
Wow wtf that engine rips harder than i thought it would!! 120hp/liter, only thing that sounds a bit clunky is the quickshifter, if this had dual clutch transmission (DCT) with seamless shifts it would be another tier up! Nice riding, a bit outside the limit but you kept it all inside the lines 😂

Έχω οδηγήσει και κολλήσει με το hornet 750 . Ακόμα δεν έχω δοκιμάσει το Transalp. Παρότι ίδιο μοτέρ το δεύτερο κάνει 3κ πάνω . Το ξέρω πως ΔΕΝ τίθεται θέμα σύγκρισης γιατί μιλάμε για άλλη κατηγορία μηχανών , αλλά θα ήθελα να μου πεις πιο προτιμάς περισσότερο οδηγικά ως προς το “fun to drive” … Η κύρια χρήση που με ενδιαφέρει είναι κομιούτερ για καθημερινή χρήση για δουλειά κ καμία βόλτα εντός κ κοντά εκτός Αθήνας … Παιδιά , όποια γνώμη καλοδεχούμενη
Transalp φίλε μου. Δώσε κάτι παραπάνω και πάρε κάτι που είναι πιο άνετο, καλύτερο για συνεπιβάτη, φορτώνεται καλύτερα, ταξιδεύει καλύτερα, είναι καλύτερο εκτός δρόμου, πιο βολικό εντός πόλης, καλύτερη θέση οδήγησης, γωνίες τιμονιού, ανεμοκαλυψη στην εθνική οδό κ.α... Δεν είναι τυχαίο που έχει γεμίσει ο τόπος on/off..
