@@susboyz8033 my can am gives me very minimum problems and it’s 6 inch lift on 35s. Only people without can ams say they aren’t reliable 🤦🏿♂️ regular maintenance is all you need and it won’t break. That goes for any quad
@@Redthadon Sorry to say but they aint. I owned a 800 Renegade. Snapped a axel and rear diff went within 3k kms. My nephew has a 500 drives it like a mad man only needed bearings and a sensor in rear dif.
@@atgvdvwhi6534 800 renegade… gen 1? Also the Honda doesn’t have enough power to spin tires and break diffs. Also could be cheap axles or aftermarket differential. My Renegade still haven’t given me any problems. Except I had to change u joint but I’m on big tires and that’s a minor fix. If it’s done right you shouldn’t have major problems like that. But if it’s a gen 1 that’s no comparison to gen 2
@@Redthadon Its a 2013 the honda is a 2017, The honda seen more mud more everything than the renegade, I just have such a hard time upkeeping parts and prices for the Canam I do work for his Honda and I find its much cheaper for parts and installation half of the time is pretty easy for whatever it may be.
@@jayden1792 I put the side cover on and adjusted the valves (they were too tight) and it started on the first kick. I'm like they just gave me a free running ATV.
Everyone saying the honda was made for that mud and the can an wasent then explain the snorkel and the tires and the way the rider is and everyone saying the honda couldn't keep up on a trail well no shit it probably tops at 25 with that gear reduction and no it wasent far cause it was a 10000 dollar bike vs a 1000 dollar bike with maybe 300 dollars of mods honda is just better
Honda all day enough said... those Renegades may get us on speed on dry ground but at the end of a Honda will always end up saving a renegade, yamaha,Suzuki, etc from most anything else.
Good on the Honda but I am curious on that hole without axle paddle in couple spots axle paddle spun but again no hate we’ll build hard mud bike muskeg is kinda diffrent tho
@@alexhino581 still go through it you just don’t turn the tires and if he does get stuck he just hook a rope up to the front and have your buddy just walk back with a rope and pull it right out
well just a better setup for that hole, the ruts were too deep and the hondas paddle just sat on it and paddled through it, renegade would have done the same thing, it just didnt have one. lol.
OutdoorsWithJP actually not true because u can't put an axle paddle on a canam because it has independent rear differentials and u new a solid axle for an axle paddle
Honda power? I'm confused did i miss it spinning those tires? Ahha pretty cool tho was it floating or is there a big lift on it?? The can am looked hung up to me clearance is king
Well of course the independent suspension bike is going to have more clearance but loses the ability to put an axle paddle it’s a trade that you could regret
Why is nobody talking about the suspension difference straight axle vs irs The axle paddle makes up for the low hanging diff so I think it’s fare as long as the can am had arched a-arms
Just a matter of staying in your lane. That hole belonged to the Honda because it was built for it (I have one and Love it). The CanAms are built but mostly for for speed and trails. My Honda will retrieve CanAms all day long at a mud park but I wouldn't try to drag race one.
Its completely fair cause yhe canned hane has the power and independent suspension with more travel, while the honda has the weight and single rear swingarm aloeing it to run an axle paddle
Or that the tires were twice as large , making it way less heavy, due to the buoyancy from the over size tires ! Which in turn , less drag , due to it being higher out of the water
Hunter Broussard I know what it has, Jamie is a friend of mine. if you take his paddle, take the lift off the renegade. very simple. and I promise even without the paddle he will show that Rene up.
I feel like can am is way overhyped. Seriously, $15000 for a new renegade, is it really needed? All you get is speed. When you could get a honda for 8000 less
2 totally different quads. The renegade weighs almost 1000 pounds and has tiny tires wtf? The Honda weighs like noting and that axle paddle come on. That Honda couldn’t keep up with me in the trails. At least it goes well through a mud pit
JorgeCanAm ATVs actually it depends if its tight trails then yes he could. Trails by my house u can only go 10mph or u will hit tree. So u loose honda wins. P1000 engine will soon be in rubicon soon. And u wont know what to say when honda can go faster than u mud better and haul and tow more. Plus. Not be made out of shitty squeaky bushings and low quality stampings lol. U fan boys suck honda is king
gmoney 78 lol. You've never been mudding or riding much obviously from all the comments you've posted. Everyone, I mean everyone, I go with would rather ride My 1000 than their 300 500 and 700 class bike. Nothing like hp and torque dude. Ride one and you'll understand.
yeah speed isn't everything I've rode my old Honda a shit ton and its fun, but my renegade is way more fun, more HP and TORQUE= more fun and spins big tires a lot better. take a look at ostacruisers channel man and you'll understand why they run can-ams and very very few other brands.
OutdoorsWithJP the main reason is skeg. That requires speed( I'll give you that one). But I ride in Louisiana where the mud is super thick and an 1000 pound bike will never make it out of a thick hole that doesn't have a bottom.
Not butt hurt at all regardless of cc size any atv can get stuck but when you put an axle paddle on it you're not even really trying. You're just gonna float on the middle of the ruts it's pretty lazy and stupid
Every one is gunna say Honda is better but mind you that can am weighs about 950lbs not including rider that Honda weighs 1/3 of that even with those massive tires
Why don’t you post a video of a Honda tryn to follow outlanders and renegades through the muskeg? Wanna see the difference? Your Honda would be useless in the skeg!
To be homest yes can am has power but if you see how expensive it is and how much things break On it like that’s a lot a money and Honda’s shiiii last forever and not everybody is rich like brayden that’s why he has can ams and Stuff but cmon look how easy that was
