Just love how effortlessly this bike goes along and how after starting you didn’t need to rev it to death like so many seem to have to. What a fantastic machine( and soulmate💜)
EL QUE TUBO ALGUNA VEZ UNA XR-600R SABE QUE NO HAY CON QUE DARLE! MUY FIEL Y UNA BESTIA DE ENDURO! YO TUBE LA 93, 94, 95, 96 Y 97! Y FUE LO MEJOR!💪💪✌🇦🇷🇦🇷
I had a 1986 XR600 i bought new in 86 , i actually raced it in a couple enduro races, no one could catch me on the straight aways lol not even the experts , i held er wide open across corn fields & wide open areas ....
Just sold my 87 XR600R. Sad to see her go but needed the money more than I used it. Great to see them still out there. Great bikes. Will definitely get another one day
Whew, i really love this bike, my one and only dream HONDA 600R Dirt Bike, how i wish that i will have that in my whole life, really love it... "Island of Mindanao Here, Philippines"
@@michaelmays9292 Oh wow, that's very nice, but i have nothing my friend even a dirt bike that dreamed i cannot afford it, whew! "Island of Mindanao Here, Philippines"
I had a "79 XR 500 (1983'ish for a few years), they all sound the same, and I hope to own a newer one in the coming months. Thanks for the video, brings back memories just hearing it.
Mate had 600 big torque Monster great bike heavy in the tight stuff open fire trail catch me if U can great front brake super strong went on a ride One day he went through a big puddle got out shape over the bars I wet My self with laughter he had about 4 days off work pumped full of pain killers I'll never forget it U Sook 😭
Thanks mate It was a low mileage machine for sure - If I remember right I think I touched up the engine case paint, new stickers and painted the exhaust .. not a lot
@@edwards0matic-That makes it Even Rarer, to find one in that Condition!! It would be Extremely Hard to Find an Unrestored XR in Similar Condition Anywhere!! I Hope you got the Right $$$ for it!! Even Rough ones are Bringing Big $$$- I have a '90 Model, if I could Restore it back to 1/2 as Nice as yours - I'd be a Happy Man! -Cheers👍😁🇦🇺
Thanks! I actually made that little vid for the purpose of selling it (didn't want to but had to). But yeah, the decompression cable was still connected if that helps.
@@cjsgarage3662 Yeah it was a light kick! When I got it, it was hard to start admittedly but swapped out the CDI and afterwards it would start just by looking at it haha.
It's just the stock tank... It was a little faded when I bought the bike so I sanded it down with fine wet & dry then took a heat gun to it to bring back the shine :)
@@nicksalter2200 Do it, even if it doesn't run they're so simple to work on. It'll sit on the highway fine, they're desert bikes after all though not the comfiest haha.
@@edwards0matic when I was 18 I lucked out and got a 94 XR600 converted street legal was so nice. The 87 I'm looking at he said it just needs new O ring for the carb it leaks , doesn't run due to kill switch ? Is that something common ?
@@nicksalter2200 If it's only those two issues then that's easy to fix .. a bad killswitch would short out the electrics and cause it to not spark, it's just whether he's telling the truth and it actually is a bad killswitch .. something else could be causing it to not spark, something expensive, so it's your call as to whether you believe him really.
Nice bike and nice video, man. Great offroad, for sure. But how did it behave on tarmac like in this video here? Too hard and tough? Uncomfortable? Very eager for fuel?
i have one 96 and 87 but 87 start not like yours ,,96 starts so easy same prosedure ,, find TDC push littel more on kick starer give this littel jump ,,up and kic it bike Starts
