I’m glad I’m came across your video I was looking at Beauty Pie but I have second thoughts about it now. Thanks for the info!

Looks like your vitamin C had definitely oxidised. You're right, it should be clear. I can recommend Timeless Vitamin C. I have used it now for around 5 years. I once deviated and paid silly money for Skinceuticals but didn't like it. I love Timeless and only ever pay around £26.

I signed up last months and I love the products so far, they are such good quality. I have purchased a kit for dehydrated skin and my skin is so moisturised and my hyperpigmentation is almost gone. I have spent so much on other expensive brands in the past and they weren't as effective.

Eeeek, I’ve just bought some vitamin C products from them. I think the point you raised about the cooling off period has resonated, because they now offer a month trial period, which you can cancel at any time. I’m a bit concerned about the quality of the products though

Thank you for your honest review i was going to try it but after your review i am re considering , customer service is very important. Life is too short to have that kind of stress to just return a product that was clearly not suitable for your skin. It obviously went bad , what if you just didn't like it which sometimes even a product that is good may not sit well on our skin you would have had a harder time with that situation. You have beautiful skin !! it was a great review thank you

I took advantage of the free trial subscription with Beauty Pie. I would never pay a subscription for anything. I bought the hair elixir, the moisturising shampoo and the Timebomb face serum. I hated all three products. I gave them all a fair trial. The moisturising shampoo, like so many shampoos nowadays, didn't make my hair feel clean at all. It was dull and lifeless. That was binned. The hair elixir was overpoweringly purfumed and smelled sickly sweet. If hair product marketers have to purfume a product, could they please use something that doesn't smell like a sweet shop for little girls. The elixir was awful. too thick in viscosity and my fine coloured hair did not like it at all. Binned. I was hoping for big things with the TimeBomb face serum. I've used it for a month now and I notice no difference whatsoever. Binned. So it just goes to prove yet again that marketing budget is usually always about concept/packaging/paying influencers to promote it..... when really we, the consumers would rather just have a product that does what it says on the tin. I would never buy anything from Beauty Pie again. Rubbish.

I like their vitamin c product that comes in capsules! It’s great because each individual dose is sealed until you’re ready to use it. I also have a bunch of items on rotation that I’ve repurchased several times. There are a few duds of course, and thing that just didn’t work for my preferences. You should consider giving them another try!

@@jihanannesa sure! Here are my favorites by category. Keep in mind I am in the US, and I believe some products are slightly different. I also have very sensitive, combination skin and hormonal acne while also showing early signs of aging 😭 so I need to be careful of what I use. Skincare: - Uber Youth Pro-Biome Mist-On Serum packaging sucks, but the product is amazing if you have sensitive skin. It’s like a probiotic for your face and it balances things out. - Superactive Capsules Essential Ceramides & Vitamin C The ceramides capsules are amazing if you’re on prescription skincare and need a boost of moisture without irritation, and the vitamin C stays fresh and potent because of the packaging. - Jeju Daily AM/PM Cleansing Milk & Moisture Superinfusion cream The cleanser is super gentle yet very effective at removing makeup. The cream is very effective while not feeling heavy on the skin - Super Healthy Skin Gentle Foamy Face Wash The bottle is massive and lasts forever. It’s a super basic and effective gentle cleanser that can be used every day without issues. Hair: - silk scrunches (mostly repurchase because I keep losing them!!) - Intensive Repair Treatment (it’s a dupe of Olaplex No. 3 and I’m probably on my 7th tube) I’ve tried their normal shampoos and conditioners and didn’t love any of them. The Detox shampoo is good, but I only use it sparingly so haven’t had the need to repurchase. Supplements: - Like Sun Vitamin D3 - Supergut probiotics - Daily magnesium I’ve tried a few more of their supplements, but these three I’ve repurchased several times. Makeup: I think this is where they really shine. I love their concealer and have several shades. The new cream bronzer is a dupe for Chanel. Their powder and cream blushes are amazing, and so is their new tubing mascara. I think I can do a full face using their makeup, except for the foundation, which I don’t care for. I have several of their lip products in different shades. Their makeup brushes are also super high quality and have replaced all my other ones. Miscellaneous: - cleansing cloths - clear makeup bags - makeup sponges - home candles and diffusers I hope this list helps! I’d love to know if you end up trying anything else. Also, always make sure to read the review on their site. I think you can filter reviews by age, skin type, tone, etc. I am well aware that what works for me might not work for others. Let me know if you have any questions! 💚

such a shame you had this experience, I have been a member for 3 years and loved most of what I have - except the shampoo. Subscription is £59 a year, not £10 a month, never has been? Looks like this might be a dodgy product, all the others I have tried are lovely :0) My customer service experience is great! They sent be someone elses box one Christmas and told me to keep it, as they can't accept returns due to hygene, and then sent me what I had ordered!

It is a shame I want to try their perfumes. It’s £10 a month for basic with a min of 3 months after the cooling off period but can cancel anytime after that. If you want to pay for the full year it’s £59 (I tend not to go straight in with skin care) but I’ve added the link for others to see below. I would love to try again. I was just scared off by the experience because I don’t know about you but lately I think because of the economy customer services are being increasingly difficult. Maybe you have convinced me to have another go. I think you're spot on with the vitamin c issue, however, I don't think you gave the company as a whole a fair try. One bad experience can be had in the finest of companies. It's not fair to judge the company based on one bad experience, IMO. They have plenty of other products that are great.
@jihanannesa
@jihanannesa Год назад
That’s not what I’m basing it on! And I ask for other recommendations. It’s the poor service afterwards when something goes wrong and the attempt to make me stay for the min 3 months subscription fee before cancelling. It’s not uk law there is a 14 day cooling off period and if customers don’t know this they won’t push for their rights and could lose money. Many of these companies have good products but fail on the customer service. If you don’t have both, I’m not parting with my money

@Jihan - Annesa yes, I hear u and I understand your point of view. You're a very well informed person to have defended yourself against their "forceful" tactics and I am very much like you. However, all I'm saying is one bad encounter doesn't justify a harsh review. l would have also asked to speak to a manager to give them feedback on what they could do to better their service so they could problem solve. To me, they need better customer service training. I know not everyone has time, energy, or patience to deal with these conglomerates. With the expensive prices I've experienced with beauty products it's ridiculous and I appreciate a company like Beauty Pie to help keep the prices down by eliminating the middle man. I guess it's something I'd put up with to help my pocketbook. Anyway just my opinion. Thank you for your response and have a great day.

That form of vitamin C is probably one of their most controversial items. If you talk to the company they’ll tell you that it’s fine that it is orange and that it is still effective. Some people prefer not to buy it since it has that color. But I do know that my vitamin C from drunk elephant has a orangey color to it and I did as soon as I poured everything together and there is clinical vitamin C also has a pretty orange color right away when I bought it I started using it. I don’t know if that helps you or not but I do know that the company has said that it’s not defective when it’s that color. So I think it has to do with what preservatives are in that product versus preservatives in some of the other products where once it turns dark orange is not effective possibly. 🤔 they do have other vitamin C products that people enjoy using.

Thanks. I did see the vit c pods but I don’t like the idea of the daily waste. If they change the bottle I think it would work much better. I’m gonna try the brand again. Do leave your other hero products please that you recommend 😊

You replied so quick! Probably b/c you’re in a different time zone. I was gonna remove my drunk elephant comment b/c i just used it and it’s lighter than what i was thinking it was. But I do recall my IS Clinical being pretty dark after opening and using less than a couple of weeks. I think that the youth bomb and the other serums they have are probably the best value as they are bigger than traditional serums. Youth bomb is the most expensive but it’s still cheaper than something you’d get from Lancome or Estee Lauder and it’s a bigger bottle. YB does have alcohol (I think to help ingredients penetrate), so if you don’t like that in your skincare I recommend staying away. I really liked their waterproof mascara in the gold tube and the brow mascara in the silver tube. Usually I use their serums and moisturizers as I don’t feel like like they have enough makeup for deeper skintones. But they do seem to be making strides with their color range. They recently out with a new bronzer in multiple shades and they do have a foundation that has a pretty good shade selection also! ☺️ Lastly their body cream in the jar is pretty nice also. The candles have been hit or miss. I got my mom a perfume that was limited edition for Christmas (I think they just rereleased it) and she loved it! 😊 Lastly, they do listen to feedback so I do wonder if they are working on a new VItamin C formula and we don’t onow. 🤔. They sometimes have a 4 pack of freezed dried vit c and you pour in activator (like Clinique). I recommend checking that one out if it’s in stock you might like it better. I had it and liked it, I just didn’t like have to do the pour every week (I’m very lazy 🤣).

Yeah I bought the drunk elephant vitamin C serum and it came In 2 separate containers and you had to mix it once you get it and it worked beautifully expensive yes but worth the price they also have a kit you can buy for about 100 dollars for all of their serum and face oil
