We always eat on the first sitting. I thought their new menu was about 8/10 Some of themes felt disjointed. Our cruise was a 9 night. Overall we enjoyed the food.
I went on a 7-day cruise in RC from Barcelona. I have to say that the quality of the food was not that great. It was downright terrible in the main dining room. El Loco was the best-always fresh. Windjammer was okay since we could just steer clear of the terrible ones and go for the ones that we found better. All said we were disappointed by the food in RC.

In the Main Restaurant, they do have a nice causal dinning dress code (no shorts) and I would treat it as eating in a fine dinning establishment. As for the buffet, dress as you please and eat with respect to others, but remembering that others are trying to enjoy their dinning, but more as a causal affair. Like eating at a local dinner buffet. Find a seat, get in line to serve your own food, and enjoy with normal conversation.
