Well to be fair it does take place in California, which is the No. 1 Anti-2A state of America. Which probably explains why it got overrun in the first place.
It would have hit better if the game didn't take place in LA; at least half the guns depicted in this video alone are illegal in the state of California.
"It takes you like an hour to find a gun in the US." Well, this is CALIFORNIA we are talking about. And like you said, the game only takes you through the GOOD parts of it.
Dead Island 2 has so much room to grow from here. I would LOVE a DLC or expansion that finally takes us outside the Hell-A quarantine to San Francisco (where parts of the game were originally planned to take place). Dying Light did essentially the same thing with The Following, so it's not out of the question to think that Dambuster could follow Techland's example. Apart from a welcome dose of new scenery in which to run around dismembering undead (Imagine exploring a post-apocalyptic Lombard Street, Golden Gate Bridge, Silicon Valley, etc.) as well as creative possibilities for new weapons, the story could follow up on its main campaign's cliffhanger ending for a proper conclusion without merely retreading existing territory. There's an untapped wealth of potential here (provided the game makes enough money, obviously) and plenty of pop-culture pulp related to California that can still be capitalized on. Now that it's made a solid first impression in its comeback, this franchise ideally has nowhere to go but up. The trick will be to keep making this game more attractive to play post-launch. There's adequate replayability at present, but Deep Silver shouldn't let the momentum go to waste. Whatever they've planned for the future, the easiest trap they could fall into is expecting fans to be satisfied long-term with the base game as is, having the dev's apply a few quality-of-life updates before milking it with multiple re-releases while players spend years waiting for D.I. 3. The priority right now should be nurturing this title, adding as much additional polish & fun as can realistically be done to benefit the gameplay loop + available content, making D.I. 2 the best possible experience. Again, it already has a good foundation. But, for nine years of waiting to be 100% worth it, it must be built up into a stronger, greater, fuller overall package.
@@AsisSamsuhangI apologise, I was not clear in what I wrote. I meant to imply that both the game and the real LA are full of crazy people, violence, zombies, drugs, and both are quite often on fire. LA is so far gone that it already looks like an apocalypse happened.
I’m always surprised how American Gamer culture is a-ok with blood and gore in this quantities but a girl showing a little cleavage or games having fan service is what REALLY riles up the media
What do you mean? Violence in video games is the main thing that mainstream media hates about video games. This game just isn't as mainstream as something like grand theft auto for most media outlets to care about covering
@@the_SolLoser "They're sheep", said the sheep. "So are they", replied the other sheep. Neither considered that they might all be sheep... and certainly, nobody thought of blaming the nice shepherds who owned all the TV stations, all the land, all the businesses and most of the housing.
I have been patiently waiting for this. Looks like an infinite replay. Also, please do Burger Chef on NES. Or, whatever it was called. Thatd be amazing!
next to do the legend of heroes series!!!(or cut it to 4 pieces trails in the sky 1-3 ,trails into azure and trails into zero , trails of cold steel and finally trails in the black and trails in the black 2: crimson sin.
As for guns, it does take place in LA California which does make alot of sense for of all places for zombies in America would be in the most ill prepared state in America
I was expecting Redfall this week, but I suppose it takes a while to analyze a disaster of that magnitude. The trailer I'm hoping for is Last Year Resurrection, now that the new dev studio has brought that game back from the dead!
Can't wait for the Redfall video, I mean even Phil Spencer was Honest and said that the game failed, just imagine what these guys are gonna do with it LOL
Please say, "We're sorry we haven't made an Honest Game Trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins yet." and then make an Honest Game Trailer for Batman: Arkham Origins.

For Joe Kapp, say "Success is living up to your potential. That's all. Wake up with a smile and go after life... Live it, enjoy it, taste it, smell it, feel it."
Hey do an honest trailers on axle city racers “In a world where kids will watch anything, here comes a game who tries to be Mario kart which is also based on a children’s show”
No comment about zombies being immune to damage types AND the weapons themselves completely? when you upgrade a weapon to a special type and a zombie is immune to that type, the zombie takes ZERO DAMAGE. You can fucking shoot a zombie 100 times in the head with handgun that got a poison upgrade ?! Or a fucking sword that does bleeding ?! It is such a bad design decision and goes completely against the core fun zombie smashing.
Do Security Breach Ruins DLC (when it comes out), Maybe Help Wanted & Help Wanted 2 (which would come out around late 2023 but who knows) and maybe some of the Touhou Project games.
