Hi friends! Glamrdip kindly sent me one of their dip powder kits... so today we're trying it out and I'm giving you my honest review.
I was really impressed with the quality of their products, the packaging is adorable and the price point is really affordable also.
Each manicure comes in at around the same price as your morning cup of coffee... so a huge saving there!
This was my first time trying dip powder and I really enjoyed the whole process. I think the more you do it, the quicker & more seamless the results will become.

Great timing - I’ve just ordered the nail kit & am waiting for it to arrive! It’d be great to hear how they wear and to see when you take them off & do a new set 💅🏻.

Oh awesome, enjoy your new kit!! I’m loving mine and am now on my third set (literally applying them as I write this 😂) and my technique has gotten SO much better… so give yourself grace while you’re learning 😝 The last set I had on I kept on for four weeks and there were no chips or lifting, just grow out. I’m so happy with the results and will be showing the next set soon 💜💜

Yes the dip nails are definitely a ‘practice makes perfect’ kind of thing. I kept getting the stuff gunked under my nail tips too. Buffing them down after each dip might help with the thickness too. They do look pretty though and definitely help keep your nails from breaking.

Yes I feel like it takes a few goes to get the hang of it, but it’s so worth it!! I’ve just popped my third set on and they look great… I took my time to be really thorough with the application and did a French ombré. So happy with how they turned out 💜💜

I have been using Glamrdip for over 6 months! It’s great but it takes a while to get the hang of it. Mine are still sometimes messy on the sides. Don’t think I can send a photo on here of my pretty Easter nails which were my best set I’d done. Would love to know how long you manage to keep them on and if you get any cracks/chips as it’s been an issue for me

Oh awesome!! 👏🏼 Yes it does take a minute to get the hang of it, but once you get there it’s so worth it!! I just put on my third set and they look amazing… my technique has gotten so much better and I just take my time to be really thorough. My last set was on just over 4 weeks and it looked great still… all I had was grow out… no chips or lifting. I have more videos coming out showing them soon 💜💜

My pleasure Jen!! Its a great system!! It’s definitely taken me a few good goes to get the hang of it and correct consistency with base to powder, so you just have to be patient and give yourself grace 😂 I’m currently on my third set and my technique and the quality of them looks so much better!! 💜💜

Aww thank you so much!! 🥰 My husband cooked dinner this night so that definitely helped me out a lot!! 🙌🏼😝 Honestly stick with it and take your time, you’ll be a pro before you know it!! It definitely takes a minute to to get the hang of but if I can offer some advice from my trial and errors… I’d say go slow in the beginning and make sure your nail beds are prepped really well and cuticles and side walls pushed back. Ensure your base layers aren’t too thick, give nails a good brush off once you’ve completed the entire hand to remove excess powder and use a toothpick to trace around the perimeter after each dip to give you a nice clean edge. Hope this helps!! 💜💜

The kids had not long finished breakfast so I needed to wipe up the crumbs. Plus as I stated in the video, the multi purpose cleaner I’d been using was leaving streaks on my bench tops, so we were testing out a new cleaner to try and get rid of them 💜💜

Hey Sonia!! There’s no LED lamps or anything like that required to dry the nails. When you’ve completed the dip powder and are ready to buff/ file, you apply the Seal liquid and this sets & protects the colour ready for buffing. After filing you apply the Glow liquid which gives you the glossy finish 🙌🏼 There’s a few steps but it’s very easy and just takes a little bit of time to get the hang of it. I’ve just done my third set of nails and they look amazing, my technique has improved so much 💜💜
